"I would agree with you, but I don't remember you ever sticking a needle in me," Yugito said. "It's the only reason that's saving you from my claws around your neck," She continued on.

"Yugito," Alex said in a warning tone, causing her to stop threatening Eve.

"I know neither of you trust me. " Eve said and got the Bishie ball out of her pocket. " Here is your friend's Renamon."

"Not right now, no." Alex responded as he took Renamon's Bishie ball from Eve. The clone of Yugito knew to go with Eve and did so without much of a fuss, knowing what was going on. Alex felt a little bad for Eve though, knowing that after the first injection that the clone of Yugito would disappear. He just hoped that her punishment wasn't too harsh. He still felt a little hatred to all the scientists for what they did to her.

Eve left with Yugito hoping she wouldn't get yelled at for taking so long. She had to get out of there soon , thinking tonight would be when she escaped.

Alex returned to the hotel room with a grin on his face, especially since his plan worked.

Simon was glad that Renamon was back and let her out once he got the Bishie ball. " I'm glad you are safe now. " He said to her.

Renamon blinked as she got use to her surroundings again before hearing her trainer speaking. "Am I really safe?" she asked softly, not sure whether to believe it or not just yet. Some of the injections given to her brought her to this simulation...only to have Simon and the others shun her.

" You are I promise Ren. " He said with a smile. He hoped she was going to be alright.

A sense of relief passed through Renamon as she heard the nickname that Simon gave her coming from his mouth. "Thanks Simon...for wanting to rescue me," she said, yawning lightly.

" How about you get some rest. I'm going to stay here for the night just in case." Simon said.

"I'm not sure if I can sleep or not," Renamon stated, having a feeling that if she fell asleep that she would be assaulted by nightmares.

"Just try to relax. I'll be close by if you need me. " Simon said.

Eve hurried to pack a duffel bag. She was worried that soon she would be punished for something. She hated feeling like this.

Renamon nodded, knowing that Simon would keep his promise. Lying down on the couch, she quickly fell asleep.

Yugito saw Renamon fall asleep and felt guilty that it was because of her that she was kidnapped in the first place. "Alex?" she asked as he looked up.

"Yeah?" he asked in response, wondering what Yugito was thinking about.

"What do you think will happen to Eve when they find out you tricked them?" she asked. Before Alex could answer, someone else did for him. "At worse, she could be killed. At best, be imprisoned and forced to work against her will," Jean said as she overheard the conversation. "Why are you concerned? They kidnapped and experimented on you."

"She didn't, so I don't hold any animosity towards her," Yugito responded.

Max hoped this Eve was able to get out of trouble. She would help if she could.

Eve hurried down the street. She had a feeling this was way too easy. She didn't like it that it was getting dark and had to find a place to sleep. She would have to take a bus to the next town to get any help, since she wasn't sure she could trust the police.

The boss of the scientists instantly knew when Eve left the compound, but knew that she wouldn't make it out of the town. If Eve took one step out of town then the poison in her body would start taking effect. It wouldn't kill her, but it would make her extremely weak. The farther away from town she got, the stronger the poison would become.

He would then send a team to collect her. After that...he'd have to reconfigure her brain to make sure that whatever she was thinking to cause her to run away would be eliminated from her brain. It hadn't happened since he became the leader here, but he knew about the "reprogramming."

Eve was feeling tired and checked in to a hotel. She needed the rest for the long journey ahead and thought about Alex. She wished she could have asked him for help, but didn't want to see him hurt.

"Sir, should we collect her?" one of the soldiers asked. The boss turned around to look at his minion with a neutral expression.

"Not yet. Wait until she steps outside of the city," he responded. He was about to turn around when another scientist came running into the room. "Eric, that Bishie...she's gone!" he exclaimed, causing said Eric to raise an eyebrow in alarm. "What do you mean, she's gone?" Eric asked in an annoyed voice, keeping his anger away.

"We were injecting her with the truth serum, but as soon as we put the needle in, she turned into smoke," the scientist explained. Eric growled after hearing the explanation. "A clone. We were tricked by a bloody clone," he hissed out. Calming himself down, he issued out a new set of commands. "Find Eve and bring her here. Since she failed so miserably, I think we're going to have her volunteer as our first human test subject," he said.

Alex sighed as he got out of the bed, unable to sleep. He wouldn't mention it to anyone, but he was a little concerned for Eve especially since they tricked her into bringing the fake Yugito back with her. He was about to head out for a small walk to clear his head before a voice spoke from the darkness.

"Couldn't sleep Ark?" Zero asked as he made his way next to his friend.

"Something like that," he replied. "It's just...I feel like I treated her with too much hostility. Granted she deserved it, but something doesn't feel right," he continued as he explained how he felt to Zero, but couldn't explain why he felt the way that he did.

Eve couldn't sleep. She had the door locked and the window blinds shuts. She was so afraid she was going to be found and punished. She typed up a message to Alex telling him about her escaping and attaching some classified information to it. She wanted her former employer to suffer for his crimes.

Alex heard his bishidex going off, notifying him that he had a new message. Heading over to pick it up, he read what she wrote and attached, his eyes going wide as he read about some of the things that she attached to the message...

"This isn't good," Alex said, not liking what was going on.

Eve hoped the message made it safely. She didnt feel safe here any more and take the first bus out of town. She thought she heard voices , but figured it might just be the people in the next room over.

Renamon sat up quickly as she woke up from her nightmare, her eyes wide with fear. Looking around, she saw the familiar surroundings of the hotel room and let the breath she was holding in out when she spotted Simon sleeping on the chair next to her. 'It was only a dream...Simon would never do that' she thought to herself as she started calming down from the nightmare. She was about to go back to sleep when she thought she overheard Alex and Zero, at least she thought that was the Bishie Alex was talking to, about the scientist who gave her back to them. She wondered what they were going to do with Eve...

Max woke up suddenly having the feeling something was wrong and got out of bed. She could hear voices and was worried that the scientists were here.

"Are you sure this is the place where Alex and his friends are staying?" The soldier asked as the commander nodded.

"From what intelligence has gathered, yes soldier. Now then, no more questions. Everyone ready?" He asked as he got several nods from his squad. "Alright then, let's go," he said as he got ready to open the door. He knew the objective was to recapture the Bishie known as Yugito, but he was also told to capture any Bishie or human that tried to help Alex and Yugito.

" Guy's I think we need to get out o here. Max said heading toward the fire escape. She didn't want anyone of her friends hurt if her instincts were right.

Carly woke up groggily to Max shaking her shoulder. "Max? What's wrong?" She asked once she saw the panicked look in her friend's eyes.
