Eve stood still hoping she was alright. She didn't want to be captured by the scientists.

Jean stood guard as both Rikku and Eve stood still for a few seconds. After the glow from Rikku's staff died down, Rikku grinned. "It worked!" She exclaimed in her usual giddiness.

Eve was very happy. " Thank you so much !" Eve exclaimed. She was glad that she would be able to go someplace safe.

Rikku grinned, glad that she could help.

Jean just rolled her eyes at the antics, a small smirk on her face as she, too, was glad to see that Eve was okay. "Alright you two, now that we're done...how about we head back?" she asked. Someone had to be the authority figure after all.

" Sounds like a good idea. " Eve said.

Jean nodded lightly as she led the two back to where Alex and the others were, making sure to avoid any potential ambush areas by first sending a clone out to scout ahead. She had a feeling that after the stunt they pulled back at the hotel that they were still looking for Alex and Renamon or Yugito.

Eve was glad when they arrived back at the hiding place. She wondered if it was a good idea to leave, not wanting Alex and the others to fight the scientists alone.

Alex saw the three ladies come back inside, glad to see that they returned safely. "I assume that Esuna worked then?" he asked before Rikku nodded, before yawning lightly.

" It did work." Eve said with a smile.

Alex grinned lightly before noticing Rikku yawning. "Rikku, you okay?" He asked in concern.

Simon finished showing the ins and outs of the safe house to both Carly and Taylor. "Any questions?" He asked.

" Not really. Would it be alright if me or Carly get some supplies ?" Taylor asked hoping to be helpful.

"That would be a good idea. Just be careful, okay?" Simon said. He knew that they could take care of themselves, but still.

Taylor and Carly nodded and went out to get supplies. They heard to a supermarket and got some food. Taylor hoped it would last until they could defeat the scientists. They both kept their eyes out for anything suspicious.

Alex saw Simon come back into the room a few minutes later as well as a curious expression on his face. "Sorry...I've made so many plans by myself that it's sorta become a habit," he explained. Wondering where Carly and Taylor were, he asked Simon if he knew where they were.

" They went to get some supplies. They should be back soon. " Simon said.

"Alright," Alex said, silently hoping that nothing would go wrong.

Taylor and Carly hurried back to the safe house. " Sorry about taking so long. We had to avoid a few areas. " Carly said.

"I was starting to get worried," Alex said. He knew that the two could take care of themselves, but it still worried him all the same...especially if they were kidnapped by the scientists.

" I hope this is enough to last. " Taylor said, hoping they didn't have to be here long.

Alex looked over the groceries that Taylor and Carly brought before nodding. "It should last," he said before telling them about curing Eve.

Carly was glad Eve was cured. Taylor was too and hoped the scientists didn't have control over her anymore.

With everyone in the safe house accounted for, he asked everyone what they thought they should do to take care of the scientists. He also suggested that they have a schedule for watching over everyone, just in case the scientists tried attacking them again while everyone was asleep. It was, after all, only luck that Max had been awake at the time.

"That sounds like a good idea. I can take the first shift." Max offered. This whole town was making her edgy and was bringing back things she didn't want to remember.

Carly noticed that Max was edgier than normal and hoped that she was alright. "I can take second then," Carly volunteered.

"And I can take third." Taylor said. He was getting worried about Max.
