Max woke up suddenly. She knew that something was about to happen and started to wake Carly up.

Sora saw movement around their place and brought his keyblade out, ready to fight.

Alex was always a light sleeper, especially since when they slept on the road. Feeling a hand on his shoulder, he quickly woke up. Seeing that it was Zero, he wondered what was going on.

Taylor had been woken up by Carly and grabbed something to fight with . He was ready to fight these people.

Jean moved to wake the other Bishies up. She knew that if they tried protecting Yugito that she would never forgive them. "Everyone up and at them!" She shouted, waking them up. Right after that, the leader knocked the door down with a well placed kick. Before he would have shouted that Alex had five minutes to give Yugito up or to be stormed, but the time for talking was over. It was now time for action.

Eve was ready to fight back. She wanted them to know she had felt about being treated badly as an employee and for hurting the many Bishies.

Zero was fighting with one of the soldiers, using his knuckles and war fans so not as to do permanent damage to them. One of them was about to hit Zero from the back, but it was negated by Yugito kicking him in the chin. "Thanks Yuu," Zero said without turning around.

Simon fought as hard as he could. He knew they would have to find another place to hide once this was over, or leave town and get some help.

Renamon was helping fend off the soldiers and keeping them off Simon's back.

Max fought as hard as she could. She hated these scientists. They were no better than the ones that had hurt her and her friends all those years ago.

The soldiers were fighting back as best they could and while some were winning, most were being driven back. However, one was able to get a lucky shot in and hit Renamon in the side with a hollow-point bullet.

Simon went crazy when Renamon had been hit by the bullet. He swung the pole he had in his hand toward the person who injured his friend.

Renamon grimaced in pain as one her gloved hands went over the bullet hole. Pulling her hand away, she felt blood on her paw.

Eve had defeated a few scientists and rushed over to help Renamon. " It doesn't look bad. " she said. She was glad the fighting was almost over.

"Still hurts though," Renamon muttered, glad that the fighting was almost over. She was just glad that nothing serious was hit by the bullet.

Jean was helping Alex take down some of the scientists with her skills in the Blue Dragon Arts. She would have used some of her Gypsy magic, but was unsure if they would also effect the others as well as the scientists and didn't want to take the risk. "Just like old times, no?" she asked Alex as he nodded before deflecting a punch with his arm and returning the punch with one of his own.

Sora fought off a few more scientists, knowing he needed to get to Renamon. He first needed to finish off these guys first.

Renamon continued fighting, knowing that with her bleeding she would become a target to the other scientists. She knew that using her Diamond Storm attack was out of the question. Growling in pain, the growl turned into a low pitched scream as a piece of debris fell on her tail.

Sora rushed over and lifted the debis off of Renamon's tail. He had to keep her safe.

"Thanks Sora," Renamon replied wincing lightly when she moved her tail. She wished that she didn't need protecting at the moment, but knew she couldn't do much at the moment, but would continue fighting as best as she could.

Taylor was glad that the fighting was almost over. He knew that they had to find a new place to hide.

Zero was looking at the soldiers he and Yugito knocked out throughout the fight, glad to have the fighting over. Both Yugito and Zero hoped that whoever had screamed earlier was doing alright now. Zero thought it was Renamon, but wasn't sure. "Looks like the fighting is over. Thanks for the assistance Kitty-chan," Zero said as Yugito groaned lightly.

"You're all going to call me crazy cat names, aren't you?" Yugito asked.

"Well, from what I know, you're the hostess of the Nibi no nekomata, so yes, probably will for a while," Zero replied as he watched Alex take care of the leader.

Alex picked the leader up and pinned him to the wall with his arm across his throat. "I'm going to say this once, and only once. Tell your employers that my friends and I are sick and tired of dealing with them. If they try this again, there will be blood. Understood?" he asked, causing the commander of the troop to nod his head in understanding and to save his own ass. Letting him go, the commander fell to the floor, breathing heavily.

Carly was exhausted. She rushed over to Max who had been hurt a little bit. " Are you alright ?" She asked.

Max checked herself over, noticing several small bruises over her body and some of her feathers out of place.'Those will have to be pulled out later,' she thought to herself before answering Carly's question, "I'll be fine. What about you though? You look as if you're about to pass out," she noted.

" I'm exhausted. Simon told me that we need to get out of here fast. " Carly said.

"I can carry you, if you want," Max offered. While she would be hard pressed to fly with Carly, it was possible. She just couldn't go as high as normal.
