"True, but think about it. The seal that we're putting to use, plus Rikku said it only weakened the user and not cause any permanent danger," Alex countered.

Eve nodded. " I know. But still it isn't right to forcibly do that without someones knowledge." Eve said solemnly. She hoped that they could get this Salem to help Carly.

"I agree that it isn't right, but I won't lie when I say I'm curious as to what the poison does," Alex responded, having a feeling that Salem would not help them out so easily after being tricked. Then again, for all he knew, they could have given him an antidote for the mysterious poison.

" I am too. I just hope we never find out. I just hope it wasn't created by a Bishie who knows about poisons. From what I heard, those type are very scary. " Eve said.

Taylor nodded in agreement. "That would be very bad"

" Let's hope they don't have a Bishie like that. " Simon said cringing a little.

"Let's hope," Alex replied.

" Is there anything we need to do before you meet this guy?" Simon asked. He was glad Renamon was keeping an eye on Carly so Max could rest. He was concerned for the both of them.

"Perhaps you could get a blood sample of Carly, just in case?" Eve asked

" I'll go do that. " Simon said and went to go get the med kit. He hoped that his friend was going to be alright.

Salem passed the time by training, using a simulated program at a level higher than what he normally used. He felt as if he should tell someone about this bargain made between the trainer for Eve, but felt that this semi-cowardice would not look good in the eyes of his bosses.

Simon got the blood sample from Carly and gave it to Eve. I hope this is good. I hate to take too much more. " He said.

"This should be enough, and it's just in case we need it later," Eve said, frowning lightly as she saw Carly shiver lightly as she slept.

Simon nodded and got a blanket for Carly. He was getting very concerned.

"Thanks," Alex said, knowing full well that he was going to do it himself. He wished that 4:00 would get here sooner rather than later.

Eve was getting nervous as it got closer to 4. She was glad Gina was ready and Kushina had the seal ready.She hoped this went well.

Alex wouldn't lie when he said that he wasn't nervous, but he had high hopes that this went off without a hitch. Even if they did remove the poison from Salem before he left, the seal would kick in. If not, then he would tell him about it and hopefully that would make him change his mind about who he worked for, or at least start thinking about it.

" Are we ready to go? Gina messaged me that she's on her way." Eve said when it was getting close to 4.

Alex nodded as he got ready after looking at the clock. He knew that his Bishies wanted him to bring at least one of them along just in case, but knew that if he did that Salem would figure something out. He knew that Yugito wanted to go as well, just to see the look on the bastard's face once he was trapped, but knew that she couldn't keep a straight face until then either. It was only after several reminders that he trained with Jean, Leglius and Zero that they relented to let him go without one of them.

Eve was nervous as they walked and was glad Gina had reassured her that Kushina had the seal ready to go. But that still wasn't enough to stop her worrying. She never wanted to go back to that lab .

Alex noticed that Eve was tense and asked her what was wrong as they walked to their destination.

" Just a little worried that I'll have to go back to the lab. " She said.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's so wrong with the lab? I know from my own experiences what's wrong with it, but I'm curious as to what you think," Alex said, curious.

" I know they will treat me badly like they do the wild Bishies. I fear they will do the same things they do to them. " Eve said in a fearful voice.

Alex raised an eyebrow in alarm at that idea, not liking it in the least. "If that does happen, then I'll be damned sure to get you out," he replied before they both got to the clearing. It was still a little early, so they waited for Salem to show up.
