"We're almost there don't worry." Eve said to Salem. She hoped he wouldn't tell anyone else where they were.

Salem followed them quietly in thought, surprised at how better he felt and how quickly he was feeling the results.

"We're here. Carly is in the living room on the couch. Don't be nervous if Max doesn't trust you. " Eve said once they had arrived.

Salem nodded as he headed into the living room, seeing a young female on the couch. Assuming that this was Carly, he moved towards her, seeing a woman with wings starting to move closer to him.

Max was tense when the newcomer came. She wanted to get angry, but knew that wouldn't help Carly. " Can she still be helped?" Max asked in a worried tone.

"As long as you stay out of my way, yes," Salem responded as he took a vial of liquid out of his pocket. Before Max even asked, he responded that this was the antidote. Placing the vial to Carly's mouth, Salem let a few drops trickle down her throat before tilting it back up and capping it.

Carly opened her eyes a little bit , but was feeling weak. She didn't know how long she had been on the couch. She tensed up a little bit when she saw someone unfamiliar to her.

Salem stood off to the side, but close by to insure that the antidote worked. Once he saw her open her eyes, he grinned lightly. He was about to ask how she was feeling before the winged female asked for him.

" Thank you for healing Carly." Max said. She knew she had misjudged Salem when she first met him, because he was the one who had done this to Carly.

"Just repaying a debt," he responded neutrally, not liking the fact that the scientists he grew up admiring were actually doing something so...malicious.

Max nodded. She looked over to Carly , who she saw was awake. " How are you feeling? " She asked her best friend.

"A little tired," Carly responded honestly.

" Just get some rest. It will be a while before your body will recover. " Simon replied. He was glad his friend was well again.

"If you say so," Carly said yawning lightly before quickly falling back to sleep.

" Thank you again Salem. I hope you don't get punished for helping us. " Eve said, hoping they could still trust him.

"Even if I wasn't helping you I probably would. I did pretty much sneak out in order to try and get you to come back with me," Salem admitted.

" How about you stay with us then? I have a feeling they might hurt you if you do go back. " Eve asked. She hoped it was alright if he did stay.

"Are you sure we can trust him?" Zero asked. "He did poison Carly after all, as well as trying to kill all of us."

" I don't know if we can trust him." Taylor said cautiously. He hoped Salem could be trusted.

(sorry for taking the whole day off yesterday. Someone accidentally cut the cable line yesterday and well, yeah...)

"I don't know if we should either," Jean said, remembering his blade barely missing her when he battled against them.

"I'm not sure either. I know he just helped us, but he also tried to hurt us too." Simon added.

Alex nodded lightly, not knowing what to think. "I think we should keep an eye on him, but until then at least give him a chance," he said.

Eve nodded in agreement. She didn't want Salem to betray them. She knew they probably were still suspicious of her.

"We'll just have to wait and see, before taking any sort of action, Zero said. Granted they were the same way with Eve. Speaking of which, he was unsure what to do with Eve.

Carly hoped Salem could be trusted, since he was the one who had hurt her. She did trust Eve, but didn't know why.
