Max kept an eye on Salem, not entirely trusting him just yet. Sure he helped heal Carly, but he was the reason why she needed healing in the first place.

Taylor did too, not wanting to keep running. He knew Salem was the one who had hurt Carly and had wanted to take Eve to the scientists.

Salem kept quiet, knowing that the others didn't trust him just yet.

"Can I get you anything Carly?" Eve asked. She wanted them to be able to trust her.

"Something to drink, please," Carly asked.

Eve nodded and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water for Carly. " Here you go. " She said once she had brought it to her friend.

"Thank you," Carly said after she took the water from Eve's out stretched hand.

"Your welcome." Eve said and sat down in a chair. " Can I get anyone else anything?" She asked wanting to be helpful. She didn't know how she could build up their trust.

Nita knew that Eve was trying to gain their trust, but knew that actions would speak louder than any words.

Taylor hoped that Eve was on their side, but he knew time would tell.

Carly watched everyone carefully, unsure of what happened while she was sick and out cold.

Simon was keeping watch in the control room. He didn't trust Salem very much and hoped that the scientists knew where they were.

"So, what are we going to do with him?" Zero asked to the group, once he made sure that Salem was out of hearing distance.

( It's alright.)

" I don't know. On one hand I want to trust him, but on the other, he was the one who hurt Carly in the first place." Max said.

Jean knew how Max felt, especially since she had traveled with Ark the longest. If something happened to him...she shook her head lightly to get herself out of that train of thought. "He did agree to help Carly though, that should account for something," the female warrior said, giving her own two thoughts.

Max nodded." I just fear he might tell someone about us." She said .

"You know, you could just trust me to not let sensible information like that out. You guys did destroy that tracking poison in me," Salem deadpanned, starting to get annoyed about them talking about him as if he weren't there.

Taylor knew that Salem had risked much to help them and was willing to give him a benefit of a doubt.

"I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt," Carly said, sitting up on the couch.

" Sounds good. " Taylor said. He was glad there was someone who agreed with him.

Zero and Leglius still thought it was a bad idea to trust Salem just yet. Eve, however, was another matter and was starting to gain their trust.

Eve trusted Salem, knowing that she wasn't trusted either. She hoped it would change soon.

After the events of what happened with Gina, Alex knew that he could trust Eve. He wasn't 100% sure about Salem but figured that he could give the young man a second chance when it came to it.

Simon still doubted Eve and Salem, but knew it would be good to give them both a fair chance.

"Before anyone says anything else, at best if I went back now empty-handed the scientists would keep a closer eye on my whereabouts at all time, at worse, most likely strip me of my ranking; I don't plan on going back there anytime soon," the male said. "Anyways, I'm going to catch some Z's. Feel free to post someone as a guard or not, it's up to you," he said before he headed to one of the spare rooms in the secret base that they were staying in.
