Sora nodded as well, not wanting to invade Eve's privacy or ask something that she didn't want to answer.

Eve was glad when they took a break from training. She was ready to relax a little bit before they started up again.

Alex nodded to Jean, noticing that the others could also use a break. "Alright guys, let's take a break," both Alex and Jean said.

Carly was glad to rest a little. She was trying to rebuild what strength she had lost when she was sick.

Max kept an eye on Carly while she was sparring. She knew that her friend knew her limits, but would glance at her from time to time just to make sure she was doing alright. She didn't want her partner to come back from a life threatening illness just to get sick again after all.

Simon hoped Eve was alright, but decided not to ask. He thought she was distracted because of the scientists that were after her.

During the break, Salem wondered what was wrong with Eve. He knew that it had something to deal with the scientists, but he wasn't exactly sure as to what before deciding on just asking her later on in private. He just hoped that she answered him.

Eve knew her friends were concerned about her and resolved to say something if she was asked.

"Eve, you doing alright?" Nita asked as she, too, took a break from the training. The young female wizard hoped that there was nothing wrong with one of her friends.

"I'll be alright. I didn't sleep well last night." Eve said

"Alright," Nita said, even if she didn't believe what Eve said. However, she didn't want to pry and accidentally offend her.

Eve was glad when the training started again. It was the only time she could forget her problems.

Once the break stopped, Alex went back to helping Salem with a few pointers as well as show him a few moves that Jean had showed him in the past. The training that he received from the Scientists was decent, but it wasn't as specialized as Jean's was...and it showed when they were fighting for their lives a few days ago.

Jean was helping Eve and showing her proper technique as well as some simple moves. Being a secretary, Jean knew that Eve wouldn't have that much experience when it came to fighting and limited herself from scolding her new impromptu student. She shook her head lightly as a stray thought from her past came up and how her old Master Lunn began her training.

Eve was doing her best at what Jean was teaching her. She knew that this would help with whatever fights she would be in .

Jean continued to teach her, glad to have an apprentice. She knew that the advanced techniques were probably out of Eve's range, but she could teach her the basics, which was what she was doing. She noticed that something was sort of distracting Eve, but would wait to call her out on it.

Eve use the basics that Jean was teaching her to block some of the strikes. Eve was feeling much more confident in her fighting skills.

Jean grinned lightly as she taught Eve, the time passing quickly for everyone.

Simon was glad he was getting better at his fighting skill, though knew he needed more work on a few things. He hoped Eve was alright, and was concerned.

While Salem ate dinner, he thought of how to ask Evelyn what was wrong while not coming off as rude. He had an idea that it had something to do with the scientists, but wasn't sure exactly what was wrong.

Eve ate dinner quietly. She didn't want to be asked what was wrong, but would tell them is they asked. She knew it would be for the best.

Jean remembered that Eve was afraid of going back to the scientists and what they would do to her, but didn't want to say anything to embarrass the young woman as she ate in silence. She noticed that Eve did want to say something, but also had the feeling that she wouldn't talk unless Eve was asked.

" Are you alright Eve?" Carly asked in a concerned tone. She hoped she could help Eve.

Eve shook her head negatively to Carly's question before swallowing what she had in her mouth. "Not really..." she said to start. She knew that she needed to tell the others about her fears...she just didn't know where to start.
