"Well, I was thinking of letting them know that I was captured by you, and then going from there, using anything they say against them," Thalia replied. "Also...I don't know why they're using me to try and get information on you and/or Tracy," Thalia said.

" We think they want to use me and Tracy to get to my sister Carly. Once we get back to the apartment I can explain why. " Deanna said.

"Alright," Thalia said as she continued eating, although she was curious why the scientists wanted her friend's sister.

Deanna finished eating and dreaded telling Thalia about the School." Would you like desert?

"thank you for the offer, but no. I don't want you wasting money on me," Thalia said

"Are you sure ?" Deanna asked. She wanted to pay for Thalia's lunch since this was the first time they spent time together.

"Well...maybe this once," Thalia said, seeing the look in Deanna's eye, noticing that she wanted to pay for their first time out together.

Deanna smiled and paid for both their lunches. " Ready to head to the apartment? I'll tell you what I mentioned earlier. " She said.

"Is it that bad?" Thalia asked quietly after Dea came back from paying for the meals.

" It is. " Deanna said solemnly.

"Then I'll wait, but I want the full story, alright?" Thalia asked in a tone that brokered no debate.

" Alright. " Deanna said with a small smile.

Thalia walked with Dea back to her apartment in silence.

Deanna unlocked the apartment and went inside. " I'm ready to tell you. " She said when they both were inside. She told Thalia everything.

"Alright, but why would they want to try and capture her again? For more tests?"

" I think so. I fear for both Carly and Max. Knowing the School would hurt my sister for saving Max. " Deanna said sadly.

"And they're targeting you because you're related to Carly," Thalia said.

Deanna nodded. " That's why I'm here in the gym. Tracy said I would be safer here. "

"I can see why the Dragon Council made her leader after Bryce then," Thalia said as she agreed with Tracy for moving her friend to this apartment.

Deanna smiled. " When do you need to meet with the scientists again ?" she asked after a while.

"in two days. He wants to meet up with me on every other Friday," Thalia said, glad that Dea was taking her idea in a positive light.

" Okay. But you won't say you were caught by me?" she asked.

"I thought you were okay with me telling them that and then I could add how I can get closer to you and all that type of stuff," Thalia said, confused. "Of course, if you don't want me to say anything, then I won't. It's your call," she added.

" I am okay. Sorry to confuse you. I tend to do that sometimes. " Deanna said feeling a bit embarrassed.

"oh joy," Thalia said teasingly. "So are you okay with me telling them that you caught me?" she asked.
