Thalia saw Deanna heading towards her as she was looking for a few pants of her own, along with other articles of clothing. She wasn't going to say anything about the jacket.

" Find what you were looking for ?" Deanna asked. " We still have another store unless you want to stop for lunch first. " Deanna said. She wondered what was bothering Thalia.

Thalia was about to say no to Deanna's question, but didn't want to ask for something so expensive, especially since she and Tracy were already willing to help her so much. "I did," she said, hoping that Deanna didn't catch her glance over. "Lunch sounds good," the demigod replied.

" You did. Could you show me? " Deanna asked as she looked to where the jacket was.

"What do you mean?" Thalia asked.

" Oh sorry. I meant what did you find? " Deanna said feeling embarrassed. She hated when she was so blunt with people.

"Oh. I thought you meant something else," Thalia said, blushing lightly in embarrassment before she showed Deanna the clothes that she found.

" I like that jacket. " Deanna said. She saw the price but also saw that jackets were on sale. " I think I can eat you that jacket. " She said.

Thalia looked at Deanna with shock in her eyes. "Y-you would do that for me?" she asked, surprised.

" I would. " Deanna said with a kind smile. She wanted this to be a day both she and Thalia would remember.

"But you and Tracy are already doing so much for me..." Thalia said softly. "I can't ask you to do something like this..." she added.

" But you've done so much for me. You were willing to risk your like against the scientists by wanting to get caught by me. I just want to show you how much I appreciate your friendship. " Deanna said with a smile.

Thalia was surprised as to what Deanna said and to her kindness. "Thank you," she said softly.

" You are welcome. " Deanna said and gave her new friend a hug.

Thalia smiled lightly and returned the hug, a little embarrassed that this was happening in a public place such as this, but didn't say anything about it. "Thank you," she whispered.

" Are we ready to check out and then get some lunch. Or do you want to look around a little more?" Deanna asked.

Thalia nodded, not trusting her voice at the moment.

Deanna took the clothes and paid for them and handed the bag with the coat to Thalia. " What sounds good for lunch?" She asked.

Thalia took the bag with the coat in it from Deanna with a small smile on her face as she pondered about where to go. "I'll let you decide Dea," Thalia finally said, although she had a feeling that her trainer's cooking would always be better than anything they ate out for, at least to her.

" How about Greek? There's a nice little cafe down the street. " Deanna suggested.

"Sure," Thalia said with humor laced in her voice. "And it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm half-Greek, is it?" she asked in a teasing voice.

" Not really. Just been hungry for some spinach pie. My mom use to. Make it for dinner sometimes. " Deanna said with a smile.

"Oh," Thalia quickly said as she apologized for assuming Deanna was trying to make a joke.

Deanna felt bad that her joke fell flat. She knew that humor wasn't one of her strong spots. " Here we are. Tracy says the food here is great. " She said.

"I'll take her word on it then," Thalia said as Deanna and herself headed inside.
