Taylor helped Carly on board Angelus and then got on board next.

Zero helped Taylor get on Angelus before he jumped and landed behind Alex, who was sitting close to the neck joints, whereas Carly and Taylor were sitting near her shoulder blades.

"Everyone accounted for and ready to go?" Alex asked as both Carly and Taylor nodded. "Alright then. Angel-chan, when it pleases you to leave," he said and a few seconds later, they were in the air heading to the mysterious city.

Taylor enjoyed flying for some reason. He knew this way they would reach the town faster. He kept an eye out for anything suspicious .

Alex and Zero kept an eye out for anything that could harm Angelus as they flew. Alex wasn't sure how the other two were doing but he hoped that they were okay and were enjoying the flight.

Carly enjoyed the flight very much. She liked to see the area from this point of view. She hoped that they would be safe.

Angelus sensed something wrong and started to descend after a few miles of flying. "Angel-chan?" Alex asked, causing the dragon to tell him that she sensed something wrong. Nodding, Alex loosened Furin in its sheathe on his back, glad that he had made a sheathe for at least one of his blades.

Taylor saw something in the distance and held on tight . He hoped what ever was coming wasn't the black dragon.

Alex saw something coming in the distance and stood his ground, ready to fight if need be. He noticed that it wasn't Bryce and his black dragon that came to fight, but something else entirely. He debated about summoning Jean, but he would wait and save her just in case.

What they saw was another trainer on a dragon heading away from the town . The trainer had barely escaped from there and hoped the trsiners that were near him would stay away from there.

Alex saw the other dragon coming from the town and that he was heading away from it. He then noticed the several archers that were trying to attack the dragon from the ground. He looked to Zero for a few seconds before nodding lightly and a small light appeared around him as Zero changed into his black armor.

Taylor signaled for Carly to duck. He wondered what was going on.

Carly ducked and used Angelus as cover until she knew what was going on.

Taylor hoped that they would be able to avoid the archers . Something wasn't right if they were shooting at trainers.

(ugh...too. many. e-mails...is finally done fighting them all)

Angelus watched the archers..."they're not attacking the trainer, but the dragon!" Angelus shouted after watching them and the dragon in the air for a few seconds, which meant one thing: that trainer knew something and was trying to escape.

( I know the feeling . )

Taylor wondered what the trainer knew.He knew something bad was happening in the town .

"Angelus, stay here and protect Carly and Taylor. Zero, you and I are going to be collecting some bows, and maybe some answers. Weapon Restrictions are off, except for the Sigma Blade." Alex said as he took his bag off and took Tsuka and Kilgorin with him and placed all the other blade next to Angelus, knowing that she would protect his stuff.

"Alex, what are you doing?" Carly asked as he placed his stuff next to Angelus.

"Doing what is right. And I hate to say this, but I need you two to stay here," Alex stated.

Taylor saw Alex leave and hoped his friend would stay safe himself . " something isn't right in this town. " Taylor said to him self . He sometimes talked to himself when he had alot on his mind .

"You aren't kidding," Carly replied, hoping that Alex would be alright by himself.

Alex watched the archers for a few moments, slowly taking out some of the archers with a well placed chop to the neck as Zero was using his battle fans with expertise, cutting the arrows out of the sky. The archers then noticed Alex and started to shoot at him. Quickly drawing Tsuka out, the blade was used in both offense and defense.

Zero changed to his lance for the extra reach after they saw both him and his trainer and started shooting at them. As the trainer and Bishie stood back to back as the archers drew their bows back. "Alex?" Zero whispered, changing to his battle fans as the built in energy shields formed around the pair.

Alex couldn't hear Zero, seeing as something was talking to him telepathically. All the voice was saying was "Call out my name and element" this saying repeated as the shield the fans were creating had several arrows bounce off. Alex came back to reality as the shields faltered and Zero was forced to use his beam sabre to attack, making sure not to make his strikes lethal.

Taylor was getting worried about Alex. Taylor didn't know how long it had been since Alex had left.

The trainer escaping from the town that was trying to brainwash him finally stopped shooting arrows. He didn't know about the trainer and his Bishie who stopped them but he was happy all the same that they stopped firing. "Saphira, we should stop soon and land."

"I'm fine, honest," the azure female dragon spoke up as her trainer just sent her a mental look that said she didn't believe her. Seeing the glance for a little while, Saphira relented and looked for a place to land.

Alex stopped breathing and looked at the new symbol that appeared on the lower half of Tsuka's blade, an inverted "N" with a line going down the middle. The fact that ice enveloped the blade after he spoke "Tsuka of Ice" had not gone unnoticed by Zero.

"Ark...what just happened?" The Irregular Hunter asked, to which Alex had no clue and voiced it. "Anyways, how about we wake one of these guards up and see what's going on? Use that Ice ability of yours to bind his hands," Zero said as Alex just nodded.

One of the guards woke up to his hands being bound by ice. He wouldn't say anything no matter what happened to him.

Alex saw the guard waking up and headed towards him.

" What do you want with me?" The guard demanded. To him , being captured was a great insult.

"Information, that's all I want," Alex stated in a normal tone. "Like for instance, why you were attacking that trainer and dragon?" He asked, keeping his tone as neutral as possible. It wouldn't do him any good to act hostile, especially since he was going to ask about Carly's sister and Taylor's friend.

" We were ordered to. We work for some unknown group. We used to be a part of the city until this group came to town. They run everything. We in the city have no choice but to listen to them."
