"Oh?" Alex asked with a raised eyebrow. "Just how many connections do you have Gina?" He asked.

" About 12 people. Mostly friends from high school. I know they know other people that can help too. The more people we can recruit the better. " Gina said.

"Sounds like you have a whole network of people ready to help," Yugito said, still curious about what Alex and the girl he was talking to were talking about.

Gina smiled." I better get going. Both me and Kushina will call who we know to get this all started. "She said wanted to run these scientists out of town, then they would finally be able to re open the gym. The leader had gone missing and she hoped that he would be found.

"Alright," Alex said as he bid goodbye to Gina before the screen turned black, signalling that the call had ended. "You do realizing popping up behind me while I'm in the middle of a call is rude, right?" He asked, turning to face the cat.

" I do now. I'm sorry. " Yugito said and hung her head. There was so much she didn't know yet and hoped to get better at not being rude.

"It's alright Neko-chan," Alex said as he ruffled the top of her head, being careful not to hurt her ears. "I just wanted you to know. Now then to answer your question...I was wondering what the Scientists wanted to do with you before we rescued you, but the files were corrupt and unable to read," he answered.

"I wonder too. I suppose they corrupted them since what they tried to do apparently failed. " Yugito said. She still was tense when she thought of that time.

"It wouldn't surprise me," Ark said, although he didn't like remembering that time either. The reason he wanted to know was so that he could get someone to reverse engineer it, just in case. "Anyways, why exactly did you pop in, hm?"

" I was worried about you. You were gone a long time. " Yugito said. She didn't want to lose her trainer , since the scientists were out in greater numbers lately.

Alex was glad to hear that his newest Bishie was worried about him. "Thanks Yugito, that means a lot to me," he said with a grin, glad that Yugito's personality had changed much since they had first met.

Yugito nodded. " You probably want to rest a bit before we eat again. I think Eve volunteered to cook this time. " She said.

Alex yawned lightly, signifying that Yugito was right. "I suppose you're right Neko-hime. You mind waking me up when dinner is ready?" He asked, knowing that Eve was a pretty good cook.

" I will. Just relax a bit. " Yugito said with a smile.

Eve woke up and stretched. She hoped Alex was back with what she needed for dinner. She wanted to make taco soup since she hadn't made it in a while.

"That's the plan," Alex said, already heading towards his room. He had already placed the bags of food for Eve in the kitchen.

Eve waved at Carly when she entered the living room and was glad to see her friend happy. "Did you hear from your sister ?" She asked hoping Carly did. Eve had a younger brother who lived in a distant town and missed taking to him,but he was angry at her for joining the scientists. She missed him very much.

"I did. Dea is doing well, as is Thalia, her new Bishie," Carly said with a small smile. "Why do you ask Eve?"

"Just wondering. I know you have been worried lately. I'm glad Deanna did get her first Bishie. I hope I get that chance. " Eve said. She wanted to be a trainer , knowing that was what she had wanted to be in the first place.

"Maybe after all of this is over, we can go visit her and get you a Bishie of your own. Deanna said that she and Thalia were helping the Wild Bishies that were abused by the scientists," Carly said.

" Maybe I will. It's terrible that the scientists forced them to fight. I'm about to start dinner, would you like to help?" Eve asked , wanting some company in the kitchen.

Carly agreed that it was wrong to force the Bishies to fight for them, but was glad that everything had been resolved, as well as getting Daniel back to human, from last she heard. "I'd like to help. Just tell me what you need me to do," She said.

" Okay. I will. It's not a difficult soup to make. " Eve said. She knew they would be eating later than she had planned, but didn't mind.

"Dea usually said the same when it came to soups," Carly admitted

" She does? I do admit some soups are harder than others, but after you make them a lot they get easy." Eve said feeling a little embarrassed.

"She's probably been making a lot then, she's been cooking for a long time," Carly admitted. "Dea was the cook for us, after our mom disappeared," she admitted.
