" Would you like to train Kirito. I'm not very good at fighting but I would like to learn. " Eve said wanting to be useful when the battle did start. She didn't get any training when she was a receptionist with the scientists since they told her she wouldn't be an effective fighter.

"I can teach you how to fight, if you still want to learn that is," Kirito replied. He relied more on his sword and his unique abilities with it, but his skill in unarmed fighting was just as high as his one-handed sword skills.

" I would love to learn. Thank you so much for offering to teach me." Eve said with a smile. She was glad that she had Kirito for a Bishie and for some reason thought about Morpheus. She shook the thought as they went toward the training room.

Kirito followed Eve, curious as to why she was shaking her head. 'I wonder what she's thinking about,' he thought to himself. Before long, they were at the training room.

" I'm ready to start. " Eve said once they were in the room and hoped this wasn't too difficult for her to do.


Deanna looked at the time and called Carly. She was glad that she and Thalia would be able to eat at her desk today,since the cafeteria was closed due to a meeting for the area gym leaders.

Thalia was glad that they decided to bring their own lunches today, hoping that no one would bother them while they were on their break.

"Alright then, did the...scientists," he said that last word with venom, "teach you anything about fighting? or nothing at all?" He asked. He wanted to know if he had to start from the very beginning or not.

" I wasn't taught anything. Other secretaries were, but I wasn't." Eve said sadly, having the feeling her old bosses had always intended for her to run and be captured.

"Well then, that just means we have to work from scratch, that's all," Kirito said. He was a little annoyed that they passed over Eve and just left her as bait, but he knew that with his help, she would prove them wrong. "Also, I may have Jean help me out with your training. I've heard that she's quite the fighter," he said.

" That will be fine. What will we start with." She asked with a smile and was glad she was in her exercise clothes.

"We'll start at the basics," Kirito said with a smile on his face.

"Okay. I'm ready to start when you are. " Eve said feeling excited.

"Then let's start," Kirito said.

Max heard Carly's Bishidex going off soon after lunch, hoping that it was Dea.

" What would you like me to do first?" Eve asked , feeling a bit nervous.

" Hey Dea. How are you ?" Carly said when she answered her Bishie dex and happy that her sister had called.

"Just follow my lead, okay?" He asked as he got into a fighting stance with his left leg and fist away from his body. The fist was protecting his face as his other fist was held ready on the side, ready to counter anything given to him. After that, he waited for her to get in the stance as well.

"I'm doing good. I had a match earlier this morning and..." Dea started saying before Thalia jumped in and showed herself on the screen.

"I won," Thalia said with a grin on her face. She was glad to have finally fought someone to be honest.

"Okay. " Eve said. Eve copied the leg and arm stance that Kirito did and hoped she was doing this right. " Like this?" She asked.

" Congratulations to the both of you!" Carly said feeling proud of her little sister and her Bishie. " I have some news too. " She added a little bit later.

Kirito looked over Eve's stance before correcting it for her, moving her hand up a little. "Like that. Pretty good for a first time," he replied with a compliment. "Now then, first things first, defending yourself," He added before showing Eve a variety of blocks, not realizing that Jean had come in.

"Thanks," Thalia and Deanna said. "Now then...what's this news?" Deanna asked, curious.

Eve paid attention and practiced the different blocks, smiling when she saw Jean in the door way. She liked having people around after being alone so long. Her long hours at her old job often prevented her from spending time with others.

Jean watched Kirito teach Eve how to fight, glad that someone was teaching her although she wondered how powerful Kirito was himself.

" Eve got a Bishie and she and Salem are dating now. " Carly said with a smirk. She was glad both her friends were happy now and that they had completed thier punishments.


Eve was getting the hang of fighting and knew this would come in handy when she fought along with her friends.

"That's good to hear. It seems like they don't have to worry about Morpheus now," Dea said with a grin, glad that they didn't have to worry anymore about their nightmares.

Kirito grinned, glad that his trainer was getting the hang of this. "You're doing good Eve," he said, although he thought that she should take a break soon.

" It is good I know the nightmares were starting to take their toll on Eve. I know her having a Bishie will help build her confidence. " Carly said.

" Is it okay if we rest a little bit?" Eve asked since she was feeling tired. She was surprised at how much she had learned today.

"Especially since it sounds like the Scientists screwed her over so badly," Dea said, knowing that having both a boyfriend and a Bishie would help her confidence.

Kirito nodded at the suggestion, surprised that she was able to last as long as she had for someone as new to fighting as she was.

"I know they did. She's just been able to reconnect with her best friend Gina. Sadly her other friends gave up on her. " Carly said. She would never abandon Eve, glad that Gina hadn't.



Eve carefully sat on the floor and could feel her muscles hurting. " I didn't realize I lasted that long. " She after she took a drink of water.

Carly nodded in agreement, glad that Eve was where she was at the moment. "Hey Dea...Is it possible that Max can talk to Thalia? She's been wondering about something that Morpheus said."

" Sure." Deanna said and moved aside so Thaila could talk to Max.

" Hello?" Thalia said wondering what Max wanted to ask her.
