Eve felt encoraged at what Kirito had told her. " What are you going to teach me today?" She asked.

"From what I've saw, you got the basics down, but just knowing the basics won't help you. No one is just going to stand still as you try to attack them after all," Kirito said in teacher mode. "But before we get to that, we'll work on some combos," he added as he showed her what to do.

Eve paid close attention to what Kirito was showing her and was ready to learn how to use the moves she had just watched. She wanted to be a good fighter and to be prepared for anything.

After an hour of teaching Eve the combos, he grinned lightly. "Good, you're getting the hang of those very well Eve-chan," Kirito said.

Eve smiled." Thank you for teaching me. Can I rest a little, before we continue?" She asked feeling a bit winded.

"Of course," Kirito said.

Eve sat down and took a drink of the water she had. She liked spending time learning how to fight." What next?" She asked.

"Now we put those combos to use. I'll come at you slowly with a punch, and I want you to use the combos to counter me," Kirito said, glad that she was learning at a quick pace.

Eve nodded and got ready to start. She was having fun learning how to fight.

Kirito could see that his trainer was having fun, and to be honest, so was he, glad to be teaching someone a part of his craft.

Alex had taken his swords out, making sure that each one was still usable and in top shape. It had been a while since he used them, but knew that he couldn't afford them being dull or broken.

" Ready for lunch?" Eve asked once they had finished that round of training. She was feeling tired and hungry, hopingshe hadn't overworked herself.

"Lunch sounds good, just something quick though, just in case. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they try attacking us at night," Kirito said, glad at the rate of which Evelyn was acceding at.

" I wouldn't be surprised either. But we'll be safe in here. While the others are fighting , can we train? " She asked as they headed to the kitchen.

"We can," Kirito replied quickly, knowing that Eve wanted to be able to help Alex and the others as quickly as possible. "And I have a feeling that some of Alex's Bishies can help with your training as well, but we can ask them later for help."

Eve nodded." What sounds good for lunch?" Eve said as she looked in the fridge. There still were leftovers in there , but didn't know what Kirito wanted.

"Anything sounds good for lunch," Kirito responded.

" How about baloney?" Eve said as she saw the baloney in the fridge.

Kirito nodded at the suggestion. "That works," he said.

Eve got the things she would need to make a sandwich and stated to make them." Would you like potato chips?" She asked.

"What type of flavor?" Kirito asked out of curiosity. Even though he was on guard; that didn't mean he couldn't have a normal day.

" Regular or cheese flavored. " Eve said looking in the cupboard and got out the bags.

"Cheese flavor, but not a lot. Too full of a stomach is bad you know," he added.

Eve nodded and put a small handful of chips on the plates. " What would you like to drink ? " She asked.

"Just some water, please."

"Sir, it has to be in that area. It's the only one we haven't checked yet," one of the soldiers said over the phone. "We just need to narrow it down to which one," he added. The soldier knew that his boss and his bosses wanted Carly and/or Max captured.

" Then check that area out. I want them before this week is up. If not, you know what happens. " His superior officer said into his phone. He knew they would be rewarded handsomely for the capture of both Carly and Max.
