"It was actually nice today. Not only do I get to spend time with a beautiful girl, I don't have to worry about anybody wanting to take my head," Salem said with a small chuckle.

Eve chuckled back." I hope that no one wants our heads again." Eve said and thought of when they had been targets of the Scientists.

Salem nodded to that as he took a bite of his ice cream. He shook his head lightly, not wanting to bring up any more bad memories from the past. Not while they were on their date.

Eve didn't want to think about the bad memories and promised herself not to mention it again. " Are we ready to head back or do you want to go for a walk?" She asked once she was done with her ice cream.

"I think a walk with a lovely lady by my side would be the perfect way to end the day," Salem responded.

Eve smiled. " As would a walk with a handsome gentleman. " She added.

Salem grinned as well before getting up, extending his hand to help Eve.

Eve grabbed Salem's hand and stood up. " Thank you. " She said smiling.

"You're welcome," Salem replied with a slight grin. Glancing around the store, he spotted Carly and the others and waved, mouthing a silent 'thank you' hoping that she could see it, but highly doubted it. Though he wouldn't put it past Max for seeing it.

Max smiled and waved back having seen the thank you. She knew it was important for Eve and Salem have some alone time.

Sakura looked at the door curiously before seeing the people that Carly waved to before. "That was Eve and Salem, right?" she asked, making sure she remembered correctly. They had looked like such a cute couple.

" Yep it was them. I'm glad they look so happy." Carly said.

"They make such a cute couple," Sakura admitted.

" I agree that they do. " Carly said with a smirk.

"Kirito-sensei is Eve's bishie, right Carly?" Sakura asked. If she was right, she hoped that Carly could ask what was wrong with Kirito.

" Right." Carly said. She knew about Salem's past and figured that Kirito's sadness had something to with those events.

"He looked so sad today," Sakura said, hoping that everything was okay.

"He did?" Deanna asked concerned. She hoped Kirito was alright.

"It just seemed that way. I just hope he's alright," Sakura said.

Kirito liked the night air and was feeling better. He liked Sakura-chan but she reminded him of Asuna. he knew that he couldn't hold on to these feelings forever, since he knew she would want him to live his life. Kirito hoped Eve had a good day with Salem, thinking they were good for each other.

"Kirito?" Eve asked as she saw her Bishie sitting out in the night balcony. She didn't want to disturb her bishie, especially when it looked like he was enjoying himself with the simple pleasures of the night but had a feeling that something was bothering him. Call it a woman's intuition.

" Hey Eve. How was your day?" Kirito asked. He hoped she had a good one with Salem.

"It was wonderful," Eve said with a grin on her face before asking how Kirito's day went.

" Sakura is improving and I'm having fun teaching her."Kirito said with a smile.

"I'm glad to hear that you're getting along with her, especially when she's going to be coming with us," she said.
