" I know that a long time ago there was a colony of dragons that lived among the people here. No one knows what happened . There is an under ground city that was built. I might have a map if you would like one." She said in a low voice. She wasn't supposed to tell about the underground.

"If it won't get you in trouble, I would like one," Alex said quietly, not wanting to bring any attention to her.

" I can get you one when you pay for your items. Most of the people in town want Bryce out of here. But none of us have the strength to do so . " She said in a whisper.

"Really now?" Alex asked surprised.

" I can't talk about it much right now , but meet me in an hour and I can explain everything.I'm Sara Green by the way." She said.

"Thank you, and I will," he said before paying for the coat. Max's mission was still going on, especially since he still needed a map of above ground. The underground map would be a great help though. As he exited the shop, he just hoped he wasn't getting this person into trouble.

Sara continued to work and then went to meet Alex and his friend at the meeting spot she suggested.

Alex went to the spot she suggested and waited near the small fountain that was in the Town Square. Since it was around lunch time, the place was buzzing with people coming and going, or eating lunch. No one would notice the two and if they did, they would think of them as a couple at best. The thought made Alex blush for a little bit but quickly pushed it down as he saw Sara head towards him.

" Glad you could make it. Here is the map you asked for. It covers both the surface and the underground. Let's get something to eat before I tell you about the town." Sara said.

Alex took the map and thanked her for risking so much on a stranger like himself. He was about to decline the offer of food, saying that he would get something with his Bishies later, but his stomach beat him to the punch. Blushing lightly in embarrassment, he agreed with what Sara said.

Sara led Alex to a small cafe and they were taken to a quiet table ." No one can hear us here. That's why I like this place so much. " She said with a smile.

"Are you sure no one can hear us?" Alex asked.

" Trust me none of the Bryce's people come to this area of town . They generally stay in the gym . Except the original trainers that work there . They aren't allowed to leave . This town hates what Bryce did to the monument the dragons left for us. We are afraid the alliance that this town has with them will de destroyed."

"I've been hearing about the dragons having a history with this place, but what are the details of it? Do you know?" He asked. If he could get any dragons to help him, that would help his plans greatly.

" This region was once populated with many dragons . They dragon elders allowed humans to build this town as long as both sides agreed to live in peace. The dragons left for a mysterious reason 100 years ago. According to legends, they will return to see if the humans remember the treaty. As it stands, no one does. Except for a few people though."

"I see...it makes sense though, especially with all the dragon architecture," Alex said as a waitress came to their table.

" Hello. What can I get you both today? I'm Jillian your waitress." She said turning toward Alex.

"Why don't you go first Sara?" Alex asked in a polite tone.

" Okay. " Sara said with a smile." I would like the chicken salad wrap with fries and a iced tea to drink." the waitress wrote it down and turned again to Alex." And what about you Sir?" Jillian asked him.

Alex looked at the menu while Sara ordered. Once she did so and Jillian asked for his order, he ordered a simple chicken sandwich with fries and a diet coke.

Jillian left to turn in the order

" The town is afraid whats going to happen if the dragons come back . How long have you been a trainer?" Sara said changing the subject.

"That makes sense, especially since Bryce can be so kind one moment and so cruel the next. And I've been a trainer for at least two years. Why do you ask?" Alex asked in curiosity.

" Just wondering really. The town used to get many trainer, but when Bryce took over he only wanted ones with dragons."

Alex nodded at that. "Is that why he made the rules like they are for town entry?"

" Yes it is . " Sara said sadly. Jillian arrived with the food and served it to them. When she left Sara said," I'm said I got sad , it's not your fault. I just miss the way things used to be."
