"That sounds like the smartest thing you said so far," Max teased, grinning lightly to show that she didn't mean it. "Think you can make it or do you want my help?" she asked.

" I think I can. It isn't too far to our room. " Carly said.

Max nodded as she got up and headed to the room with Carly. While she knew that she couldn't fly without risking damage to her wings from the intense cold, she still wished that she could fly. Especially after hearing that there were several flying bishies...wait...could one of her flockmates be here as well? It was a question that she would ask Carly later, if at all.

Carly got changed into her pajamas and crawled into bed. " This feels great." She said.

Max giggled lightly at that. "I bet. Go ahead and sleep Carly, I'll be right here," she said.

Salem sighed as he wasn't having much luck catching a Bishie. Was this karma coming back to bite him after all these years of pledging his loyalty to the Scientists?

" You okay?" Eve asked concerned. She knew Salem was worried that me may never be a trainer but Eve had a feeling he would be a good one.

Articuno woke up from a long sleep and looked around the cave he called home. For centuries he had been waiting for a trainer but it seemed that day may never come, but hoped this day would be different.

"I'm just worried that I won't ever find a Bishie to be honest with you. It seems like karma is coming back to bite me-woah!" Salem was cut off as he fell into the snow. Apparently the snow was covering a thin sheet of ice. He was just lucky that Eve didn't fall with him.

" Salem!" Eve exclaimed when Salem feel through the hole." Can you hear me?"

Articuno heard something fall into his cave and flew over in that direction. "Are you alright?" He asked, hoping the person was. He knew this was a terrible place to die and hoped that help would be here soon.

"Yeah, I can hear you Eve!" he shouted upwards. "All I have is a bruised pride at the moment," he added, glad that the snow cushioned his fall. If it wasn't for that...he didn't want to think about it. hearing something in the distance, he turned towards it. "Eve, I think I heard something down here. I'm gonna go check it out," he said.

" Okay! I'll go and get help!" She yelled down the hole and hoped Kirito had some rope with him. If not she could get the park rangers.

"Alright," Salem shouted back up before making a mark in the wall to show where he started. After that he turned and headed off towards where he heard the voice.

Articuno hoped that he would be found. It was very lonely here and had been waiting for a trainer for centuries. Sadly no one knew about the caves and would help this person out." Hello." He said.

Salem thought he saw something in a branching off cavern and headed towards it. Before he did so though, he placed a little bit of snow on the cavern wall, just in case. He then headed into the cavern. "Hello?" he asked, his voice echoing off the cavern walls.

" I can help you out of here." Articuno said as loud as he could. He flew closer to the man hoping he would be seen.

Salem stopped as he heard the voice again, but blinked when he saw a bird with feathers that looked like glistening ice. "You were the one who was talking to me?" he asked.

"Yes I was." Articuno said. "I'm glad that you can understand what I'm saying. That means you are my trainer." He said.

"Wait, what?" Salem asked. "How can I just 'be your trainer' just like that?"

" I'm a lengendary Bishie. I was to wait here until someone found me. That person would become my trainer." Articuno explained.

"So you're saying that if someone else fell into that hole, that person would have become your trainer?" Salem asked, curious. He had to admit that this sounded a little too good to be true.

" Maybe. Or maybe not. You seem to be a person who is looking for a second chance. " Articuno said.

"How can you tell?" Salem asked, surprised.

" The look in your eyes. You seem like you regret your past and I understand that you are sincere about it. " Articuno said hoping that this person was his trainer.

"I really do regret my past. I was...part of the group known as The Scientists," Salem said, grimacing lightly. He hated to bring this up and didn't want to ever again. "If that means you can't work with me, I'll understand and try finding my own way out," he added.

" I can still work with you. I have a feeling you already faced your punishment and fulfilled it. I would never want anyone to get lost in here. The tunnels go on for miles and one could die down here. I should get you out before it gets dark. " Articuno said.

"I have...at least I think I have," he said as he explained what Morpheus had him do in order to redeem himself. He actually expected this ice bird to laugh at him for what he had to do.
