"That makes two of us," Max said with a soft sigh. "How about we change the subject, hm?" she asked, not wanting to talk about the Erasers anymore.

' Sure. This is a nice town. Do you think Elia will become a trainer soon?" Carly asked.

Taylor?Can I ask you something?" Elisa asked wanting to know more about being a trainer.

"I think that she'll be a trainer as soon as we get up to the gym tomorrow," Max responded with a small smile. "What about Alex, have you talked to him yet?" she asked.

"Sure Elisa, ask away," Taylor said.

" I did. We're not actually dating but he didn't reject me after I told him " Carly said.


" Can you tell me about being a trainer? " Elisa asked.

"That's great!" Max said with a smile, happy for her friend.

"Sure, what do you want to know?" Taylor asked.

" I just want to know what you did to become a trainer. Is it hard ?" Elisa asked.

"Not really. You have to fill out some paperwork and then they take some blood so that the bishiballs can be created and any bishie caught by you will start forming a small bond with you. Whether you strengthen that bond or not though is up to you as his or her trainer," Taylor explained.

" Doesn't sound too hard. I want to be a good trianer. I've seen too many trainers that aren't good to their Bishies. " Elisa said sadly.

"I know you won't be like one of those trainers Sora and I persuaded to not bother you anymore," Taylor said

" I'm glad you think so. I don't want to be a trainer like those ones you fought. " Elisa said and yawned.

"I'd prevent you from doing so," Taylor responded.

" And I would thank you for it." Elisa said and tried to hide a yawn." We better get some sleep. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a busy day." She said with a smile.

"Sleep sounds like a good idea actually," Taylor said with a light yawn of his own. "With getting you a Bishie, it definitely will be a busy day," he said with a light chuckle.

" I bet it will. " Elisa said and closed her eyes looking forward to what tomorrow would bring.

Alex hesitated a few seconds in front of Carly's door before knocking on it lightly. He had a feeling that Carly was blaming herself for the Erasers, and he wanted to do something, anything, in order to get her to not think about it.

Carly heard the knock on the door and went to answer it, glad that Deanna , Thalia , Sakura and Max were already sleeping soundly.
" Hi Alex. Can I help you with something?"Carly asked.

Alex scratched the back of his head in light embarrassment for a few seconds. "Well, I was feeling a little restless and was gonna take a walk around the village, to calm down a bit. I know all of my Bishies, Jean especially, who would raise a ruckus if I didn't go with at least someone. I was wondering...well..."

" I would enjoy a walk. " Carly said. " Let me get my coat. " She said with a smile, glad that Alex had asked her.

"Of course," Alex said as he waited patiently for her.

Carly put her jacket and winter stuff on since the thermometer outside the window was going down fast. " Sorry if I made you wait too long. I wrote a note incase Dea or Max woke up while I was gone." She said.

"Smart. Especially since knowing Max would probably think the Erasers kidnapped you or something," Alex replied. "Wish I thought of it," he added with a light chuckle.

" I don't think the Erasers are daring enough to come out in the open, unless these Erasers are different. " Carly said.

"I hope you're right," Alex said, lightly touching the sword on his side. While he hoped that he didn't have to use it, he wasn't going to go without some sort of means to protect himself and Carly.

"I hope tomorrow goes well. I'm nervous about seeing my mom again after so long." Carly said as they walked. She was glad it wasn't snowing yet but knew that it could start at any time.

Alex was glad that the night wasn't too cold for snow just yet while they walked, quietly in thought as he listened to Carly. "I understand you're nervous, anyone who isn't nervous about meeting their parent after a long time is insane. Plus if things do go wrong, you have Max, your sister, and myself to help you," he replied.
