Artie yawned lightly as she woke up, glad to be alive for another day.

Carly woke up and was glad that it was another day. She still was feeling numb after sending her dad to prison but was happy everyone was safe.

"You okay?" Artunia asked as she sensed that Carly was now awake. She just hoped that her...friend was doing okay, especially after the events of last night.

" Not really. Just feel numb about having my dad arrested." Carly said sitting up in the bed.

"It may have not been the easy thing to do, but it was the right thing," the Eraser responded.

Carly nodded. " At least Dea doesn't hate me for this. " Carly said.

(Is the death of an Eraser due to going over it's time an instant death or does the Eraser have symptoms, like cold-like symptoms, coughing blood, things like that)

"How close are you with your sister?" Artunia asked out of curiosity.

( I don't remember and can't find it on the wiki. I assume the eraser would have symptoms. That and it would be a good plot device in the rp. )

" Really close. Basically I was the closest thing Dea had to a mom. " Carly said.

"I see...Deanna must mean a lot to you then," Artunia said before she started coughing badly.

( the wiki states they have a short amount of time to live so I assume they would have symptoms. )

" You alright Artie?" Carly asked feeling really worried.

"I'm fine," Artunia said before coughing again. 'I thought I had more time...' she thought to herself.

" Why do I have a feeling something is wrong with Artie?" Max thought as she woke up. " Morning you two. " she said.

"Morning," Carly said towards Max before turning back towards Artie. "You don't look fine..." the trainer said, concerned.

" Carly is right. We need to get you to the Dragon City soon." Max said having a feeling Artie had little time left.

"T-That's probably a g-good idea," Artie admitted. She had a feeling that if they didn't get her to this Dragon City soon, then she'd expire. She really didn't want to die...

" We should go no later than tonight. I feel bad about leaving mom , but I know we'll be able to come back after we go to the Dragon City. " Carly said and got out of bed.

"I'm sorry..." Artunia said.

" No worries. I don't want to lose you Artie. " Carly said and saw Max nod in agreement.

Artie was surprised to hear that, especially after her race had hunted Max and Carly for so long. "Thanks..." she said before going into another coughing fit.

"I think we should talk to Alex...he'll be able to get us to Dragon City quickly," Max said. She knew that she shouldn't care for Artunia since she was an Eraser, but two things changed it: Artunia was her partner and Carly's Bishie just like she was, and the second reason was that she didn't harm Carly like other Erasers could have done.

" He should be up now. I hate to do this but I know he will help. " Carly said and got dressed.

Artunia was getting dressed, wanting to go with Carly to talk to Alex.

" Artie want to come with me?" Carly asked.

The Eraser nodded her head as a response.
