Carly went down the hall to where Alex was and knocked. " I hope he says yes. " she thought and was nervous.

Alex had just gotten out of the shower and was halfway dressed, wearing only clothes that covered his lower body. "Who is it?" he asked through the door.

" It's me Carly. " She said.

"Come in," he said as he went towards the closet that was within the room, looking for a shirt. As he was doing this, he didn't realize the view that he was giving his girlfriend.

Carly blushed a little at the sight of Alex with no shirt and tried to gain some composure before saying why she was here so early.

Alex found a shirt and quickly put it on as he listened to Carly explain how her Bishie was dying and didn't have much time left. "Let's see, we'll be askng the Dragon Council to heal Artunia before she dies because she's an Eraser, correct?" he asked, wanting to make sure he heard correctly.

" Yes and that she helped them in the past. Though she can't remember how she helped the Dragons. " Carly said.

"Alright. Maybe if she gets healed by them, she can remember what she did to save the dragons," Alex replied. "Though we should get going as soon as possible. I'd hate to leave the others in the dark about it though," he admitted. He figured that it would be quicker, and easier, if it was just the two of them that went back towards the town, of course with their Bishie with them

" I'll have Max tell them. I hate to do this but we will be back later. " Carly said.

"I'll let Angelus know and we'll get ready," Alex said. He knew that she would be happy to fly once more, knowing that she couldn't do much flying up here in the cold. He also knew that Angelus would like to see Saphira once again, even if it would be brief.

" I'll hurry and tell Max. " Carly said. She hoped that they would make it to the dragon city in time.

"Alright," Alex said as he turned towards Carly. "Go ahead and let Max know, I'll go get Angelus and then we'll fly as fast as we can there. Though I suggest you put Max and Artunia back in their bishiballs. The less passengers, the faster she can go," he said, knowing that his own bishies was hearing this as well.

Carly nodded and went back the room." Guys we're leaving soon. I'm leaving Deanna a note telling her where me and Alex are headed. But you two will need to be in your bishie balls." Carly told Max and Artie.

"Alright," Max said, knowing that she couldn't keep up with Alex's dragon when it came to flying. She also knew that Artie couldn't stay upright while she was this sick. "The less passengers Angelus has, the faster she'll go?" the avian hybrid asked curiously.

" That's what Alex said. " Carly replied and found the Bishe balls. She put Artie in first since Carly hoped that would slow down the sickness her friend had.

"Thanks guys for understanding," Alex said as he everyone back into their bishiballs before heading towards the stables that housed Articuno and Angelus.

Carly got her coat on and headed toward the stables." I left a note for Dea to let the others know that we'll be back." Carly told Alex when she arrived at the stables.

"Alright. The sooner we get there, the better," Alex replied as Angelus let both Carly and her human on. "Everyone secure?" she asked as Alex gave the confirmation. "Then hold tight," she said before exiting the stables and then taking flight. The thought of calling ahead to Tracy completely escaped both humans minds, but then again with Artunia barely clinging to life thanks to the Erasers' curse, it would be understandable.

Tracy was glad for a day off and was up early anyway. She wanted to spend time with Saphira before meeting with Daniel for breakfast. She shivered at the winter air and wished she hadn't forgotten to bring her hat.

Eragon appeared next to Tracy with her hat in his hand. "Seriously Trace, you'd forget your head sometimes if it weren't attached," he teased as he placed the hat on her head. It was nice to actually just walk peacefully within the village for once.

" Thanks." Tracy said with a smile.

"Don't mention it," he said before he thought he saw something in the distance. "Trace...what's that?" he asked as he pointed up into the sky. He knew that some dragons could fly higher than others, but most in the village stayed at a distance where they could be seen from the ground.

" Looks like Angelus. But Alex would contact me if he was coming." Tracy said feeling puzzled.

Angelus panted hard as she made her way into the stables, flying as hard and fast as she could. A friend's Bishie was in danger...she would do whatever she had to do in order to get there in time. Once she landed within the stables, she collapsed. Alex felt bad for pushing Angelus for so long and hard...

" Alex!" Tracy exclaimed and ran toward Angelus. She was glad Eragon was heading to get the stable medic and she was concerned something was very wrong.
