Max narrowed her eyes at that, but chose to say nothing. They still had to gain her trust it seemed, then again the avian remembered when she was somewhat like her.

" Dinner is ready. " Matt said and saw the new bishie.

"Thanks," Carly said, hoping that she would be able to gain her full trust soon, especially since she still had a feeling that the person who had hurt her would be coming back.

" Ready for dinner?" Sora asked Taylor and hoped Carly was okay.

Taylor nodded. "I am actually," he admitted.

" Same here. " Sora said.

Kendra followed Carly and the others to the dining table, seeing everyone else present. She was lightly panicking since there were so many people in one space.

" Eat as much as you need. " Hattie said and was glad to have company.

"Thank you for the food," everyone had said before digging in. Kendra only took a few pieces of food, not wanting to over eat or anything like that.

" You better have good news for me Bullseye. " A man said who was sitting in a comfortable chair. He wanted to know if Hawkgirl had been rescued by those trainers that knew his son. He wanted to make sure they understood he wouldn't be so easily defeated.

"Well as you said, I didn't kill that Hawkgirl bishie, even though it would have been easy to do so. I can still pluck her wings later though if you wish," Bullseye replied. "But that's not what you want to hear. Two tamed bishies saved her and brought her back somewhere. I didn't stick around to see where since both bishies that saved her were constantly scanning their surroundings."

" Don't want her wings plucked yet. Keep an eye on the gyms in the area for these bishies. And if one is a part of the Flock, let me know. "The man added.

"Well if you are looking for the Flock...one of the bishies that came in to save the little hawk was named Max," Bullseye commented.

" Really? Well then I'm impressed. " The man said.

"So...what do you want to do Sir?" He asked.

" I want you to find out if my son is here. I want him to understand that I'm not happy with his choice. "

"Are you sure about that Sir? Salem may not like the idea of you being here running things like a Kingpin," Bullseye responded.

"Understood sir. So...what should I do? Tell him that Reiko sends his regards?" Bullseye asked, using the man's first name.

" Yes. " Reiko said with a grin. " Also tell him I look forward to seeing him again. "

"You know...rumors do say he has a girlfriend now. Would you want to meet her? I do believe you have to approve, right?" he asked.

" I do need to approve. How about you take her and bring her to me? That will definitely get my son's attention. " Reiko said.

"I'll keep an eye on her and do my best sir," the Bullseye said with a smirk.

" I appreciate it Bullseye. " Reiko said and was looking forward to this.

Eve suddenly felt a light chill going up her spine, worried about something but unsure as to what.
