"interesting plan. Although, are you sure they're underground?" Alex asked, his mind going a mile a minute. He was trying to think of ways to help the Rebels while they still had time.

" It's only a theory that they are underground. It's the only place in this town they would be able to hide." He said .

"I see," Alex said. "It does make sense then," he said. "I should get going though, I was just planning on taking a short walk and to see what happened from last night," Alex said, hoping Bryce believed his story.

" Alright . I will let you know when I am ready to act against the Rebels."

Alex nodded lightly, surprised. "I'm surprised that you think so highly of me Bryce," he said before heading off to leave. Where no one could see him, a massive grin formed on his face. He still had Bryce believing that he was going to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

Bryce hoped Alex could be trusted and knew if it was false, Bryce would make Alex regret ever coming to this town.

Alex walked back to one of the entrances, wondering how to get back inside. As he was wondering, he felt a small shudder go through his body. hm...Bryce must be thinking of plans to disembowel me for when I show my true colors he thought to himself before shrugging lightly. The bastard had to go.

" Do you need help getting back inside ? " A brunette asked, she knew how because she was one of the Rebals.

Alex heard the brunette and nodded. "I do. I know how it works, but not sure how to get it to work from the outside."

" There are locks right here to open it " She pointed out , that were hidden." Just lift them up like this , to open the hatch. " She said.

Alex looked at the locks then back to the brunette for a few seconds. "That was it?" he asked. When she nodded, the trainer placed his palm to his face before smacking his forehead and calling himself an idiot for not realizing it.

She laughed a little bit and re locked the hatch. " Now you try. " She said.

Alex nodded and did what she did and opened the latch himself. "Ladies first," he said.

"Thank you. " She said and went down the ladder.

Alex followed and headed down the ladder, making sure the hatch closed behind him and locked back into place.

Taylor was glad to see Alex was safe. He hoped that soon he could be on the surface , though being underground was better than the prison.

Alex grinned as he saw Taylor and the grin soon vanished as he saw Lena's look of annoyance on her face.

"Do you know how Bryce reacted to last nights operation?" Lena asked , trying not to be annoyed too much.

"I do," he responded, hoping that the information he gained would negate any wrath that Lena had in store for him. "Bryce is planning a counter attack on us, among other things," Alex started as he explained everything that Bryce told him in confidence.

" That doesn't sound good at all. If he even has a partial map of the tunnels , were in big trouble. That's why we need to start planning now to get him out before he has that chance to attack us." Lena said .

"Agreed. Although he said he would let me know when the attack starts. He still thinks I'm on his side," Alex said, the last four words giving him an awful taste in his mouth.

" It's a brave thing you are doing leading Bryce on like that. Let me know what you hear about Bryce's attack plans so we are ready." Lena said .

Alex nodded. "Thank you, and I will let you know," he said. Before Lena could wonder off, he apologized for his reckless behavior.

Lena accepted his apology before she went to send the message to the Dragon Council. They needed to know Bryce's plan.

Alex wondered what to do. Sure he could go back up to the streets, but that wouldn't be fair to the others.
