" Would you like to help me do some planning? " Cole asked Alex.

Alex nodded. "What did you have in mind?" He asked out of curiosity.

" Mostly techniques we can use to fight the guards and the goon that Bryce have around town. He'll make sure those jerks will be fighting us while he makes his escape."

"I see. How do you want me to help?" Alex asked in earnest.

" Do you know of any ways to take down guys that might be stronger than us. From what intel I have, most of these goons have a background in fighting. And most of us rebels are former trainers at the gym. We can't use our dragons against Bryce unless the Council grants it to us. " Cole said.

"There's a few ways that I can think of at least. First, you need an advantage: Traps, speed on the opponent, better techniques, better weapons, the list can go on. Then there is also the tactics: most likely hit and run or the bait and switch. Zero is better at strategy than I am though," Alex said.

" Traps would be good. I know we might be able to get better weapons, but that could take longer than we want it to. Also we need to get in contact with our operatives at the gym before this happens. I dont want them to be caught off guard if Bryce decides to strike without warning. " Cole said.

"I completely understand, although Bryce did say he would warn me before he started his counterattack, so you should have time to talk to your operatives."

" I hope you are right. If we do get invaded we can go to the next level of caves. I haven't been down there before, but let's hope we don't have to use them. " Cole said and then told Alex part of his plan to take down Bryce. He just hoped the Council would agree to help.

Alex listened and nodded, hoping that the Dragon Council would lend their assistance. Other than that, all they could do was plan and wait...and make sure nothing went to hell while they were waiting.

Lena saw the messenger dragon coming toward her with the response from the Council, and quickly heading back to the base. She hoped the response was a positive one.

Nita saw the dragon as well and saw Lena take something from the dragon. Wondering what the small dragon gave her, she followed Lena, hoping to ask what that was all about.

" I have some good news." Lena said once she was with the others." The Council has agreed to help us take down Bryce. They want us to start the operation in a few days and have suggested a plan to take him down." She continued.

Alex heard the news and grinned lightly, although he wondered what the plan was.

" Their plan is to provide air support in case Bryce tries to escape on the black dragon and grants dragon trainers the permission to allow their dragons to fight. They want us to provide a distraction both outside and inside the gym. This will keep the goons and the guards occupied , while the main group targets Bryce. They want him alive so the Council can try him for his crimes and would allow the town instate a new leader at the gym ." Lena said reading off the Council's plan.

Leglius, Alex and the others listened to what Lena said. When she was finished, Alex had a small grin on his face and looked at Cole and Neil, seeing both of them already thinking of ideas on how to get ready for the attack. Turning back towards his Bishies, he saw them preparing themselves as well. He knew that Jean, Zero and Leglius would help physically, while Rikku, Nita and Kit would help from the background.

Taylor listened and was thinking of ways he could help . Sora also was thinking this, as well as Carly and Max. Taylor wanted to help take down the person who had made so many people suffer.

"So...planning period I take it Ark?" Jean asked as Alex nodded. The only problem they had now was the waiting.

Bryce was making plans to strike in a few days. He knew his time was short and had to strike soon, he hoped Alex would still be loyal to him once this was all over. He summoned a messenger and sent Alex a note on when the attack would be.

Alex was taking a small walk on the streets outside, knowing that Lena was using his freedom of walking without the guards attacking him on sight to gain any knowledge. Seeing a guard come towards him, he wondered what Bryce wanted.

" Bryce has a message for you. I don't know what it says, but it must be urgent. " The guard said.

"Thank you. I'll be there shortly then," Alex responded. He had a feeling he knew what Bryce wanted to tell him, but he hoped he was wrong.

The Guard nodded and went back to his post.

Bryce was waiting in his office and hoped Alex was willing to help him.

Alex headed into the gym. Seeing the new secretary wave him inside, he walked past her and into Bryce's office. "You wanted to see me?" He asked once entering.

" I did. I'm going to start my offensive against the Rebels in a few days. I wanted to give you a heads up if you wanted to help me fight against them. " Bryce said.
