"Hold on, let me check," Alex quickly pushed some buttons on the dex before a map appeared on the dex and showed up in a three dimensional like array. Underneath the map, a description of the area appeared. "Hm...says that this is connected to the Book Area, but there's also a few video game characters here between the town we came from and the next town, at least. I know you want your first Bishie, but if its a Legend of Dragoon character, all bets are off."

" Why do you say that? " Taylor asked curiously. He wished he had done more research on Bishies before he started but he knew then that there wasn't time to. Not if he wanted to find Michael.

"Legend of Dragoon is a rare playstation RPG, and also one of my favorites. I only know a handful of people who even know of the game, let alone played it. I'm sorta a fan of the game..." He said, blushing lightly in embarrassment. He didn't mean for his fanboyness show.

" Sounds interesting . " Taylor said . He was interested in things he had never heard of before . That's what got him interested in being a trainer. He wondered what Michael would of thought of him becoming a trainer. Things had to look up and he had to find his friend .

"It is," Alex replied as he pushed a few more buttons, hiding the stats of the area and go into a normal map mode, showing him where they were and all that good stuff. He didn't like to admit it, but sometimes, more often then not, he was bad when it came to directions.

" How long might it take us to get there ?" Taylor had his dex out and was looking at the map too . He was alright with directions , just as long as they werent too complicated.

"It will take at least a few days, more if we run into difficulties, plus it might be hard for you to catch a Bishie with all of my Bishies around," Alex said, knowing that his Bishies knew he meant no harm in it. Angelus watched from the skies above them, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious or dangerous to her trainer and his friend.

" Maybe if we stop for the night I could go out looking for a Bishie for a little bit. " Taylor said. He didn't want to be away from the group too long. He still was jumpy about the mornings events.

"Sounds like a good idea Ty," Jean said, quickly blushing at the slip of her tongue. Alex looked at her with a raised eyebrow before shrugging. If Taylor didn't object then he wouldn't make a big deal about it. Actually, he was quite glad that she was starting to become a little less guarded about her secrets, even if he did know about them already. Alex nodded at Taylor, agreeing with his idea.

Taylor was glad Ark agreed that it was a good idea. He didn't mind that Jean called him Ty. Ty was a nickname he had in middle school. He knew he had to catch a Bishie before the next town.

Time passed as they walked and before long, the sun had settled. They started walking for a little longer before he saw Nita starting to yawn. He looked around and saw that a few of his other Bishies were starting to tire out as well. "Hey Ty?" Alex asked, noticing that he didn't mind Jean calling him that. "I'm gonna start setting up camp. You're welcome to head out and catch a Bishie if you want," he said.

" Sounds good to me. I promise not to take to long." He said. Taylor walked in the grass hoping he would find one. He remembered what he was told. He knew it might take some time to find one. Taylor still was tense from the events earlier. He hoped that the new trainers in the room were safe.

"Alright," Alex said as he and the other bishies helped create a small fire pit. Zero and himself putting up two tents, while Jean, Nita and Kit got firewood. Leglius left to get some food, Rikku going with him to get some berries and other edible fruit and/or plants. Once they returned, they got everything started up. Angelus returning and providing a small controlled stream of fire for them.

"Just like old times, hm Alex?" Angelus asked as Alex nodded.

"Almost like old times. And it will only get bigger from here. Speaking of which, I should have warned Taylor to tell his Bishie about you, just so that he or she doesn't freak out. Oh well." He said, as he poked the embers with a stick so that the fire wouldn't go out.

Taylor walked around for a little bit . He heard some noises but they seemed far off. After about 30 minutes he headed back to camp. Maybe he would have better luck during the day.

Alex heard Taylor coming back from the Northwest after thirty minutes or so passed. He raised his hand once he saw Taylor coming back. "Any luck?" he asked.

" None. I think I might have better luck during the day , since it's getting dark. Thanks for letting me look. Anything I can do to help?"

"We got pretty much everything done. Thanks for offering though," Alex said with a grin.

" Alright. " He said with a smile. Taylor hoped he would be able to help out when needed.

Alex noticed a few of his Bishies starting to head to sleep as Angelus settled down close by as well. "Looks like everyone is settling down for the night."

" I'm ready to head to bed too. Today was just strange . I know tomorrow won't be that way. See you in the morning."

"I agree. But at least we have somewhat of an idea of the disappearance of Michael," Alex said before seeing Jean nod lightly. She would take first shift before Zero and then finally himself. He remembered the first time he suggested that he help and was turned down but continuously fought with the two before they allowed him to help.

Taylor slept fitfully. He couldn't get those trainers off his mind. He knew he would need his sleep for the next day.

Alex slept for a few hours before he was woken up by Zero shaking his shoulder. Nodding, the trainer got up before heading out of the tent and keeping an eye out. "Zero...what do you think of all this? Taylor, the black vans, the disappearances," Alex asked, trusting the Irregular Hunter. It wasn't anything to do with Taylor, but he was curious as to what Zero thought about the new addition to their party.

"I think Taylor is an unfortunate victim in all of this, but I know you're assuming the black van we heard about and the disappearances are connected somehow. The only problem is, we don't have any clues to confirm or decline any hypothesis we have. Tomorrow, I think Jean should see if Taylor knows how to fight or I could show him some swordsmanship. I'll leave you to watch for any disturbances." Zero said as he ended the conversation.

Alex watched Zero jump and head into the branches, probably going into sleep mode. He then kept an eye out for anything out of place.

Taylor had woken up at sunrise. He didn't know who was up so he would stay in the tent until they were awake. He didn't sleep good because of the events of yeasterday and the thought that Michael was still alive and needed his help.

Alex stretched as the sun helped wake him up, Zero jumping down from the tree he was sleeping on. Due to honed reflexes, Alex ducked and picked up a sword at random. "Not bad Alex," he responded in a humorous voice as the trainer scowled.

Rikku stretched lightly as she woke up, some joints popping as she woke up. "Much better..." she mumbled. "You know how gross that sounds, right?" Nita asked as the Al Bhed giggled lightly. "Maybe, all I know is that I feel better," she said in response as Nita just rolled her eyes before both girls exited the tent they were in, Jean still sleeping.
