I make my own! From my aunt's recipe. Sometimes she even makes the tomato sauce from scratch, using the tomatoes from her own garden. I usually use canned steamed tomatoes, because I'm lazy like that.

I wasn't aware that lasagna was actually a cheese and sauce block for ten years of my life. To me, lasagna is the Hamburger Helper kind. Ruffly noodles and beef chunks in a bowl. Anything else is just ??? That's the only kind I can bear to even look at. Cheese lasagna looks and smells NASTY. Plus, I'm lactose intolerant and couldn't eat it if I wanted to.

@Amane - Because it's poor man's lasagna. It's got the ruffly noodles. It's got a tomato sauce. It's got the hamburger and I think in theory it has cheese. It's just lasagna deconstructed. The so called "Block" is way better. Layers of noodles, meat, sauce and ricotta. Yes please. And I like to top mine off with a bechamel sauce and cheese rather than just tomato sauce and cheese. Om nom nom

Well, I agree, some cheese smells bad, but I happen to like ricotta, parmesan, and mozzarella.

Oh, honey, no. That's not the lactose intolerance talking. The appearance and smell of melted cheese alone make me feel sick. In an "all in my head" way, not an actually sick way. I love Cheez-Its and miss mac and cheese. I'll eat cheese on tacos, too. I used to nom cheese cubes just about every day. I must eat in moderation, or the consequences are serious! No ice cream, though. never ice cream. I haven't tried milk.

If you haven't tried milk ever but you want to see what it tastes like, my friend is lactose intolerant and she drinks lactaid milk. I was actually surprised that it doesn't taste like some weird milk-like substance, it just tastes like regular milk. It gets this milk-addict's seal of approval. XD You should get some cookies or brownies or something and sit there with a glass and indulge *nods*
