lol It was actually the story of the Little Red Riding Hood (and my mom) that forever ruined the 'good guys' for me. I think I mentioned the story on here somewhere...

Anyway, as a kid (like maybe when I was somewhere between the ages 2 - 4?), I read the LRRH story and asked my mom why the hunter killed the wolf. My mom told me because it was because the wolf was bad and no one likes bad people. I asked her why is it bad if he's only hungry and wanting food, because aren't wolves supposed to hunt and eat meat? She told me that he's bad because he eats humans. I was rather indignant on the part of the wolf because I couldn't understand why he's 'bad' for just following his nature. I decided, "well if no one likes you, then I will!", and from then on I've rarely ever supported the 'good guys' in any story or film.

If witches had been portrayed as pretty when I was that young, I probably would've done the same.

I was never into witches so I don't think I knew much about besides the whole 'riding on a broom' thing and having green skin and warts...I was more into monster-y things like werewolves, dragons, snakes and such.

Exactly. Witches were icky. Now all the witches are really beautiful. I didn't like monsters because I saw them as… well, monstrous and scary.

I liked monsters because they're monstrous and scary.

However I don't like monsters that look too human...like the traditional witches or zombies and such. Vampires are an exception because I have a fascination with fangs, I think. Also don't like the ones that oozes slime or pus or etc like they're half-rotting.

I like pretty things. Always have. I fairly recently decided that scary and pretty is a win.

Fangs. Wings. Red eyes. Shapeshifters.

I love shapeshifters. A lot of my OCs are shapeshifters.
Wings also feature heavily among most of my OCs as well.

Oh oh and scales! Love scales. Dragon-y.

The only OCs with special powers I've developed well can just use magic.

I've got several well-developed (read: existed for more than one year in my head that I regularly think about) OCs and I don't think I've got on human in them. O_o;

Humans are boring , but I have beloved human OCs. Most of them have some kind of run-in with a not-normal human and become not-normal humans. I love that. Never gets old.

I have a few of those but they're not OCs. xD;;;

I've had it happen with OCs and seen it happen with other writers' characters. Love it either way. :>
