I don't like having a gold goal. I like earning freely and knowing I don't PLAN to just lose it all again later.

I suppose that's a point. Though, why not treat it the way you treat event currency gaining?

Or do you just amass a bunch of event currency for no reason?

I keep a massive pile of event currency so I can afford thousands of tokens worth of spending if I have an issue and can't post. It has happened, and rollover currency saved my hide.

So it's like a back up plan...? I see. That makes sense.

So far, I can still spend in the event of that twice in a row at worst. I need more!

I think you have a decent amount of event currency. I only have about 150 roll over.

Poking at the tumbler topic, Tumblr's such a strange beast that I sometime enjoy and sometimes don't. I've definitely noticed the changes in fandom and they way celebrity crushes and other things that people enjoy have taken. "I hate you so much (because you're so cute)" and all that. So strange.

It really falls flat on interactions though. Reblogging is a terrible way to make conversation, as is asks.

Yeah. There really is no conversation between people unless you're "Tumblr Famous" then everybody wants to talk to you.

I'm not super social in fandoms any more, but I feel that it was easier to start conversations when fandom sort of lived on mailing lists and livejournal. Tumblr is great for sharing art and other pictures, but other times it's alienating and infuriating.

I don't have a blog of my own. I scroll through several others'.

I find it's easier to watch tumblr accounts if you have one. I reblog cute fanart and meta and stuff, sometimes random squees, nothing special.

I wouldn't do anything with my blog. I don't know what I'd name it.

I think that more people do nothing with their blogs than do something. Just call it Amane's blogs and subscribe to lots of shiny K-pop blogs and bask in the wonder of it all. And if you really like the shininess, reblog it so you can go back and stare at it later and sigh happily XD I think that's what most people really use their tumblrs for
