I'm floating everywhere today. I'm the Mene Haunt -nods-

I've been neglecting Mene in favor of Recolor.

It's an awesome site where you can customize all the items' colors to whatever color you want! (to an extent, but still...customizable colors )

And there's no worry of inflation there either because you can't get duplicate items. It's a pretty new site but their avatars and hairstyles are gorgeous.

I end up killing all my houseplants because there's no sunlight in this house. Which is kinda ironic since we have all the window walls. >_<

I checked out the website recolor.me and am making my avatar on there now :) How is it different from other avatar sites?

I love plants. I have never taken care of my own, but we have veggies and fruit trees in my backyard :)

Oooh, what kind of fruit trees? I've got some in my yard as well. ^_^

I think the most interesting thing is that you can change the colors of any of your items to whatever color you like, within limit. :) There's also no exchange system, so any item you get will be yours only and not inter-tradeable with others. Also, you can't get a duplicate of an item (since you can't sell it anyway); once you buy an item it disappears from the Marketplace list.

They have a lot of mini games on there that are pretty fun. Dark World gives you items by trading in orbs, and Quads also gives you a daily prize.

I think the only downside is that you must use the ping system there liberally because there's no way to keep track of whether or not you get a new post in a thread, so by pinging someone there the other person will be able to respond more quickly and not miss your post.

No, the items are the same, I mean like they disappear from 'your' Marketplace after you buy it...the Marketplace isn't intershared between all the users, or the site'll never have enough items for everyone. xD;;

Ja that makes sense now ^_^ since all the items are re-colorable and un-sellable anyway, I can see why there is no real use for duplicates. :)

Yeah, though apparently people have been suggesting a trading system for a while on Rec now...so who knows? @@ Maybe one day there'll be trading and you can get duplicates...
