I don't remember what event I got mine from. I just remember it was something like, the prize being a store item of your choice. And I chose whalecow because it's so cute :)

Oh it was a different one from where I got mine then, I think mine was from one of those map games and I landed in a spot that got me a whalecow. :D

Well, either way, it seems whalecow is a very popular item during events! Heheh

I'm pretty good. Just a little bit on the tired side after being out for most of the day, but I'm home now, and I can relax :)

Oh yes it is :) I'm not in the best shape physically after an accident I have almost 5 years ago (was hit in the back by a tram, resulting in sciatica), but I do try to keep as active as I can. It can get tiring, especially after I gave up using my crutch in early March of this year, but I'm determined not to let that slow me down. I'm still young, and I'm going to get better no matter what it takes :)

And I end up disappearing for a few days in a row.
How is everyone?

We've got a bunch of apples, a few pears, peaches, two mulberries, and I think there's one plum tree.

Had a sucky night today due to a misunderstanding by the instructor. Ah well. Hopefully it's all smoothed over now.

Thank you, both of you :)
Yes, I was largely housebound because of the accident, but in March of this year, I decided to take a stand and become a bit more active. So I ditched my crutch, and haven't looked back. It does get hard some days, but now that the weather's warmed up, it's a lot easier to get around. The colder weather did me no favours, but hot showers usually help deal with that :)

You're very welcome hon! I'm glad that you have ways to get by. Just don't risk re-injuring yourself and setting yourself back.

I've recently given up carrying the huge backpack I was using previously, because it really wasn't doing my back any favours, and I've been using a smaller backpack that's done WONDERS for me. I no longer feel as if I'm carrying a MOUNTAIN on my back, and I feel much less tired and strained when I come home of a day.
Plus, I don't think being housebound did me any favours, so even though it's tiring to be as active as I am now, I find that it's doing me a world of good. I'm just crossing my fingers for the day when they turn around and say damaged nerves can be repaired. Til then, I'll just be as active as I can. I should also look into getting back into acupuncture. I was doing that up until late last year, and it's been more than 12 months since I did it. Hmm. I've given myself a project for Friday XD

May I suggest using a rolly backpack :) I know most of us might have ditched these early on in elementary or primary school, but maybe it will be better than a backpack that is, well, on your shoulders and back.
