Those little pockets are way too tiny for pocket watches though! The only thing they're good for is lint. Or chapstick. But even then, I put my chapstick in my normal pocket, so yeah, lint pocket!
I feel like the original people who wore jeans, miners and other laborers, probably couldn't even afford pocket watches. Don't quote me on that, I just feel like the people at the bottom of the barrel weren't running around with fancy watches in their pockets.
I think it had something to do with cotton being in a higher supply, and denim being ease to make. That, and if you had tight pants, it meant they were tailored... meaning you were well off enough to afford someone to tailor your pants.
I prefer flare cut and boot cut jeans to skinny jeans anyway. It's mostly because I have monster calves though.
I'm the equestrian in my family and trying to get skinny jeans over boots... mmmm yeah... don't recommend doing that. So I prefer boot cut myself. Because of that.
From my wikipedia research, jean material has been around for a long time, but jeans as we know them were the invention of Jacob Davis, a tailor, who partnered with Levi Strauss, a wholesaler, to create work pants with copper rivets at the pocket corners. The jeans designed for cowboys and miners is what became popular among teens and eventually became the jeans we know today.
Oh, neat!! And what does that Gif say? I can't read it -it moves too fast.
I've decided to start taking down old posters to make room for new posters! My brother got me a Sherlock poster for Christmas, so I just put that up. Dad helped me get it straight. ^_^
It says "The More you Know" It was an old public service announcement campaign back when I was a kid.
I only have two posters up. I have a map of Middle Earth hanging over my desk and a Minecraft poster over by my light switch. I also put up a retro Wonder Woman placemat on my wall. And I just bought a stupid Lisa Frank calendar with its eye burninating neon colors. It was only a buck
Ah, ok. My internet probably won't let me play the video though.
Oh, cool! I have more posters up in my room at home than down at school - here at home, lots of things that I've made, or been given, but at school I have a painting that a friend did for me, and a poster of the exploding TARDIS. :P And a wall decal.
Most of my posters were free from various anime conventions or things I picked up in Chinatown. Maybe I should invest in Wallscrolls. They'd last longer.

Do you ever do skinny jeans inside boots? I try that sometimes :)
The end of my Dr. Pepper with cherry and vanilla syrup is so overwhelmingly sweet, I can't finish it. Never gonna bother with those syrups again unless I feel the need to make a Shirley Temple.
I don't know. I'm not one to go along with the 'styles' of today, because all I know is what one is supposed to do when it comes to riding... Outside the boot... always outside the boot... NEVER inside the boot. Plus I'm never one for following so called 'trends'...

Oh, yeah, adding syrups to things do end up with them always at the bottom. xD
I've only had one Shirley Temple in my entire life. Wow. I just realized that.
Cloudie, I do love the bootcut jeans! ^_^ I prefer them over skinny jeans when I'm wearing boots, that's for sure. But I'm okay with skinny jeans as well!
