Yeah, I just feel like the majority of people really didn't appreciate it though. *Sighs* Oh well.

Most didn't thank me. Despite me giving them time to come forward, and even when I came forward with who I gave items to - Most of them still didn't thank me.

Did they think that hummy was the one who gave them the gifts?

It was told to them that it was a gift given through the wishing tree and people knew that Hummy was just the go between... Some did only thank hummy, despite me saying that it was me who had given them the item... :/ I don't know it makes me not want to do something to that scale ever again, honestly (I probably won't because of how things went.). :/ Because I feel totally under-appreciated. But Meh... whatever. :/

Oh, you mean this time around? Nope.
If it was from Hummy, I'm sure it was from just her.
She made sure to acknowledge anyone who helped give out gifts, and tried to get people to realize that she was just the go-between for most of the gifts.

The event that I did all that gifting was early last year.

Yeah, it was the User Run Event early last year, can't remember when it was exactly. But yeah - I don't have anything now that I could give away, even if I wanted to, this time around. Because all that I have left are items that I love too much to give up.

That is understandable.

But also even if I did have items that I'd be willing to give up, I may not be up to doing it again, based on experiences in the past.

I don't know the whole story of what happened to you during the user-run event, but how come hummy didn't tell them those items were from you? Maybe she forgot?

Oh, if they thanked only her, she would tell them, but it was the people who didn't even say thank you at all - that made me feel meh about wanting to do it. They only take the gifts and don't bother to thank anyone. That's what I had an issue with. If that makes sense.

Maybe they thanked her in the trade comments? Unfortunately, we don't get notifications for those.

I have an open trade with hummy that I think she forgot about ^_^; but that's okay, I haven't reminded her because she has had so much else on her hands and needs to get better first <3

*shrugs* I don't know. I just feel like people don't appreciate those who go through the work to try to find/send from their own inventories, items that they want, yet they can't find it in them to say thank you to the person who did that. *shrugs* Oh well.

And she'll get to it eventually. :] I've had trades with her up for quite awhile sometimes, but she always gets to them. I just let her do them in her own time, no pressure. ^_^

My first semester down at the school I'm at - she sent me two nice sized boxes of felt. ^_^

Aww really? ^_^ that's so nice! Did you mention that you needed felt for something? And what did you end up using it for?

Yep, really. Oh, felt is my medium of choice for crafting with. And hmmm... I made three felt sunflowers, a chain of stuffed rainbow hearts (which got sent to my friend's mum in Australia who was going through a hard time), and a humming bird. Oh yes, and a felt valentine for a project for one of my classes and a felt 'quilt' for my final project for the same class. And I know there were a few other things that got made, I just can't think of what they were.

Oh wow, that's amazing! Have you shared photos of those crafts on Menewsha anywhere? ^_^ They sound fantastic!

The hummingbird reminds me of hummy ^_^

I did share them all at the time that I made them - I just remembered, it was only 2 made with the felt that Hums sent, the other one was made with some felt that another friend sent me, but I preferred the color of the felt Hums sent. It was more of a sunflower color. :)

Thank you! The majority of them are all hand sewn, except for the quilt one, which I glued down as I didn't have the time to hand sew all of that.
