Ohhh! No, I've not seen hat version! Their interpretation of it seems to be great!! Both of them definitely do know at least the signs! :D
Some of their sign choices made me think - but they all made sense! ^_^

What a coincidence! XD Looks like it's a production of the Deaf Professional Arts Network.
Maybe you can make some cool sign language videos some day. :D

I saw his name and went "His name looks really familar... wait omg.!!"
So cool! I'll have to check out some of their other videos! :D
I'm not huge on signing songs myself - songs are CRAZY hard to translate and get just right - sure there is no one right way to sign songs, but they usually trip me up even then.

Doesn't help that I don't have calm music to write calm things to.
/'cause I am a free spirit glowing with energy
/and calm music CHIPS AWAY AT MY SOUL

@Cloud - I can only imagine how hard it is.
@Amane - Poke youtube? They let you do playlists and stuff now, even recommend playlists according to videos you're watching/listening too. Here, I found music for reading.

Done that. Once I resorted to—gasp!—classical music. It helped a little!

Cookie: Yeah - I've been working on one song - memorizing it in sign - for about a year and a half or so now - and there are times that I still get tripped up (if I over think it) by certain parts, although I'm getting closer to having it totally memorized! :D

I can't get into classical music, or any music older than me, unless I have memories tied to it. The exceptions are very rare.

@Cloud - Guess you won't be the one interpreting songs at rock concerts then.
@Amane - Older than you? That cuts out so much. Boring! Hundreds of years of music and you like, what...I don't know how old Amane is, 20? A little less, a little more?

You kitten me? There's a ton of music out there. There must be millions, billions! of songs that came into existence in the past 20 years alone. It cuts out a lot to not like music older than me, but there's still too much left to call it boring or limited.

@Cloud - Ah well.
@Amane - Nobody's required to like stuff. It's just a weirdly conceited way of putting it. Like anything made before you were born sucks and your birth begot the best music.

Ah, but it's not a statement about the quality. It's about what it makes me think of. If I like what I think of, I like the song. If I don't? NO DEAL! It's tough to remember a song that came out before I was born, y'know? Unless someone in my life played it where I could hear and become familiar with it. In that case, I'd like it because it would make me all nostalgic. For most of the older music I like, that's why I like it. Good memories.
The gorgeous mental images that also make me like a song mostly come from that electronic/dance/techno/dubstep/what-have-ya' stuff that's fairly new.

I just enjoy songs as I hear them, no matter when they came out. I either like them or don't and the time in which they came out has nothing to do with it really. There's some really awesome older songs, just like there's some super shitty new songs. *shrugs*
Sure it can be harder to find older stuff, but the trying is fun. Just like the discovery of new stuff.

I'm the person who likes those annoying songs.
/#Selfie is a jam
/even though "selfie" makes me cringe because of something in K-pop
/that "all about dat bass" song annoys me, though

OMG!!!
That reminds me, when I was in the eighth grade, I sang Angel by Sarah Mclachlan for my school talent show and my best friend signed it for me.
So awesome! I think I still have to footage on Youtube!

The courage to sing on stage is proof that superpowers are real.

Hahahahaha!!
I agree with you on that. I honestly love to sing on stage, but the few moments right before I get on stage, I always freak out for a little bit then go through a phase where I wonder why I'm doing it.
But once I get on stage, I don't regret it.

Everything will be flawless in private, but if you go onto stage confidently, you will screw up.

I am no good with big crowds. I ran for a state club office and had to give a speech in front of a big convention and I was so nervous. I was shaking. They were projecting me onto a big screen and you could see me shaking. I had no competition for my region, so I won, but I think people probably would have liked a candidate that didn't shake like a leaf on stage. But I still got it done! I'm better with small crowds, but no crowds are even better!
Anyone else in the path of the Snowpocalypse? We had to close work early. We're closed tomorrow. They're calling for insane amounts of snow. I'm just hoping the power doesn't go out or we'll be walking around in ten sweaters around here.

Nope, just a tiny bit of rain here in SoCal. And we'll probably be back to sun and hot temps tomorrow. Heh.
Stay safe those of y'all who're in the path of the snow storm!

I'm a beast at handling talking to people in my head. IRL, I can't get my words right and keep awkwardly pausing.
Snow is so beautiful…
