Lunetta: Please don't ping me, *pokes her signature* I'm subscribed to this thread and I'll get back eventually. It was a random page in my wreck this journal that I was working on. I took have a ton of housework that I'm kind of avoiding.

My parents seem to think I'm a hothead who'll go off on anybody. Perhaps my sisters think so, too. What they don't know is, I only go off on them because they're family and I shouldn't have to hide my DONE from them. I'll be polite and ladylike with a stranger.

Ehhh Sorry about that!! I didnt see your signature I tend to skip past them because they get repetitive I really should look at them more haha. I also forget to subscribe to threads so I dont know if they get updated till I find the thread again. Also something i need to fix! *headdesk*
Yeah I hope my newbness will eventually fade; I am usually really awkward most of the time anyway though and delete three quarters of a reply before i'm satisfied.
heh I have so much to do in my house right now its sad. I have a tiny two bedroom apartment for 4 people and LOTS of things half of which need to be sorted and donated. It gets overwhealming when the children dont pickup after themselves sometimes.

I really used to be exactly like that. I'm sure it'll go away once you find people you really like. All I can offer is, don't be afraid to make an irrelevant post. (in Menewsha Nation… that's probably spammy anywhere else) It's the chat forum, after all. Randomness makes the world go round. :D

How does one 'ping' somebody?
I'm not one to use that feature often, but I've always been curious as to how that works?
Do you just out. Link to the person's profile or something?

@ (person's username) ; without the spaces or the ( ) is how you ping.
And I have a GIANT pile of homework to do, and laundry to do as well that I keep putting off. :/ *sighs* School.

Ah, I see. Thanks. :D
Definitely get to work on that homework and laundry! I have a ton of stuff to do today too... I was feeling really sick this morning and yesterday, but I'm feeling so much better now, I think I'll at least start on cleaning while I'm still feeling good.

Totally random, there's a tow truck parked in the middle of the road outside of my apartment building. And I can't see the car that needs to be towed. xD So random.
The pastel colors really are hard for me to read, even with the harder fonts. I know you've said you love pastel colors, but when the background of a forum is white, having light font colors really don't seem to work, at least not for me.

Sorry is this better? I was gonna change that earlier but spaced it. I can see them really well but I am on my iPod most of the time. I just don't like posting without color

Yeah, that's much easier for me to read. Thanks. You could always post in a darker color than pastels? It's just the pastels that are really hard for me to read especially on the white background.

@Cloud - It is delicious. I have a specific little Chinese place I go to and it's always great. There's a place literally just around the corner, but their stuff isn't as good, so I just take the ride and have the good stuff. I really can't pass up $5 lunch specials with soup or an eggroll. Om non nom.
Hi LoonyLunetta. :) The only time I bother with color is when I'm starting my threads or setting up a special one. Otherwise, it seems a pain to put in color codes every time. I post way too much for that! Sometimes. Other times I'm super quiet. And lazy. >_>

Cookie: Mmm! Yummy!! There is this chinese place that I order from that delivers - they're decent, not the best. But it's not too bad. I'm considering looking them up and ordering some take out. It does sound good!

These guys deliver, but I always just pick it up myself. I usually get a drink or something while I'm out. Make it special. Got my giant Dr. Pepper from the gas station today. Can't beat a giant drink for ninety-five cents!

I'm glad that more than pizza delivers as I'm not a huge pizza fan. So this works well for me, when I want something that isn't cafeteria food (which isn't bad, but sometimes I need a break from it).

I have never lived in a place where Chinese food delivers!
When people say things like 'Chinese delivery' I am so mindblown because I'd love for a Chinese restaurant where I live to deliver!
But where I live there aren't many Chinese restaurants. Not real ones, anyway. All we have is Panda Express. But the really good, authentic Chinese places are in the city. Err, in the bigger cities anyway.

Yeah, it helps that I'm in a pretty large city, so we do have some places - and it helps that I live in the area that this one place will deliver to. We do have a Panda Express on campus, but I rarely go there, mainly because it's on the part of campus I'm rarely near. xDD

I haven't been to Panda Express in years now. :O
Not because I don't like it, though, I just try to avoid it because it can be pretty fattening. :P When Panda Express first came to my city (Which was like, 2009 or 2010 or something) my mom and I would go to Panda Express every day and one day we were eating and an employee came through the door with (literally) two or three tubs of corn syrup. And from that point on, I avoided Panda Express unless I had a serious craving for it, or if it was my only food option. LOL.

@Cloud - Oh yeah. I don't think I could eat cafeteria food all the time. You need a break sometimes. Spoil yourself a bit.
@Ava - Where do you live if you don't mind me asking? Middle of nowhere? ;) We have a Panda Express in the mall, but we have loads of little hole in the wall Chinese joints around here and a lot of them do deliver. I wouldn't go so far as to call them authentic in any way. Sure, most of the people that work there are Chinese, but I'm not fooling myself into thinking this is the Chinese food that Chinese people it. It's the westernized versions they cooked up for us. XD Still delicious.
On the occasions that I am in Chinatown, but it in Boston, New York or San Francisco (I've been to all three), I make it a point to stop in and try new things.
