TGIFridays has pretty tasty chicken fingers. I don't usually get chicken fingers at places either, but I got them there recently. I also like their fried greenbeans. They're evil, but so good.

There was a local chain in Louisiana called Raising Canes. All they do is chicken fingers and fries. I went to Boston recently and they had a location there, so I guess they're expanding. If you see one, try it.

I love TGIFridays. I love their mozzarella sticks, and the veggie pizza appetizer thingy, and the soft pretzels with cheese dip.

Hey Connie :D

It's the fried greenbeans that make me even bother with them. That and my friend is now obsessed with their chicken fingers, so we go now and then.

I have very fond memories of being a little kid ordering chicken fingers at different places like Rainforest Cafe and TGI Fridays. :) There was this one steakhouse that I used to go to with my parents when I was little and they had cheesy garlic bread that was amazing and I'd (of course) order chicken fingers and they were so good!
I really loved chicken fingers when I was little. You can never go wrong with chicken fingers!

We have a Raising Canes in my state, I think there's only one location here, though. I tried it a long time ago, but I can't remember if I liked it or not.

Chicken fingers I can do without.
I'm also in love with the peach mango lemonade. Love it!

When I was little and we wet out to eat, we usually went to this Mexican restaurant in the mall and I'd almost always order enchiladas. Om nom nom.

I don't usually order chicken fingers cause I tell myself that I'm an adult and should order something healthy. But sometimes you just need chicken fingers

Raising Cane's is amazing. Now I'm craving it, but it's up in Boston, so it's rather far. And if I'm in Boston, I generally want to eat in Chinatown!

@Connie - I haven't tried that. The peach mango part sounds good. Not sure about the lemonade. The addition of lemon is so often overkill for me.

I love mango lemonade.. I've never tried peach mango lemonade, that sounds pretty good!

And sorry if I kind of don't come around as much, I've been starting to feel kinda blah over all with Mene and I may need to take another hiatus, we'll see.

Next time I go, maybe I'll try it.

Aww, that sucks Cloud, but I know how it goes. Although, my hiatuses are never intentional, it's just that nobody posts in my threads, so I don't bother either. Or they do and I'm too lazy to reply

Ugh! My grandfather threw out my cherry crumble that I made the other night! He claimed he thought it was old spaghetti. It in no way, shape, or form even slightly resembled spaghetti! And he'd already thrown out the spaghetti the previous day! WTF!

Old people drive me crazy x_x

I noticed there arent many people in general on mene anymore though so I'm honestly not surprised theres very little activity. I'm trying hard to be active but i think my pastels scared people away >~> *Sigh*

and ohhh i'm so glad I'm the only one allowed to toss anything in my kitchen! I would be so upset if someone tossed something I made and it wasnt bad!!

UGH at being up at 4:30!

Whatever. If it tastes good, it'll make you gain 250 pounds and kill you in two days. If it tastes terrible and smells and looks even worse, it's the key to healthy immortality.

I think a lot of "healthy" food is an acquired taste. xD
Personally, I love some healthy foods. I mean, like, more than a regular person should.

I love almond milk, it's so tasty~ But compared to regular milk, most people probably wouldn't like it. I also looove chocolate soy milk. UMF. So good! And tofu is amazing too, if it's seasoned right. And don't forget radishes! Oh my goodness! They are just magnificent when you eat them raw.

I've heard that humans aren't meant to digest cow's milk. It's supposedly not healthy overall, so many people have issues with drinking it.

I don't know how true that is. I honestly love milk too much to give it up, even if it's bad for me. But I know that if I do get to the point one day where I can't stomach milk anymore, I can always enjoy some almond milk and soy milk. :)

i've read about that too and some seems logical but I'm not 100% on board my kids still get it. I've also heard that the bad stuff is the processed milk and if you get it fresh it's fine and can even be a cure to allergies to milk?

Fresh as in, not pasteurized?
I think I've heard that too. It does make sense, though. Anytime you cook something, besides meat, you're technically cooking out all of the good stuff that's originally found in it. We've definitely been conditioned to believe that pasteurized milk is healthier, even though people in the past have been drinking raw milk and have been completely fine, if not, better than we are today.

Some people's allergies to milk can't be cured by the unpasteurized stuff though - it's about lacking the enzyme to digest the lactose and no matter what kind of milk, any dairy products make them feel sick... I have quite a few friends who are lactose intolerant.

I understand that.
I don't think there is a cure to allergies to anything, really. Allergies are sort of weird in that, I'm not sure anyone knows what causes them, and they can't really be "cured".

Yeah, so saying that unpasteurized milk 'cures' milk allergies, that isn't true at all. It's just things that people start despite the fact that they don't actually help. Those who can't actually process milk... will never be able to fully process milk without the help of meds - and even then, sometimes the meds don't even help. I have a friend who tried the meds that the doctors said would help her be able to somewhat handle dairy products, but they didn't help her at all. :/ So it's something that one should really look more into - raw milk is amazing and delicious, I've tried it, I'd drink it again. But it's not something I have the money for as it's WAY more expensive. Although we were getting it at the time direct from the source - a friend who had cows. He doesn't have cows anymore.

That definitely makes sense. :( I'm so sorry for your friend, though. I couldn't imagine my life without milk. No ice cream, no cheese, no milk! I'd just go crazy, I love milk way too much.
I've never tried raw milk. I'm a little wary of the taste, though. Does it taste similar to whole milk? I didn't know that raw milk was expensive... but I shouldn't be surprised! A lot of healthier options are more expensive! D:

She played around with things and in moderation now, as long as she takes the meds enough time in head, she can have a tiny bit here and there. It just depends on what it is though... And sometimes the meds don't always help much. She used to eat lots of cheese, but she can't do that in as large of quantities anymore. There are times that she'll eat the cheese even if she knows she shouldn't.

It tastes exactly the same. Although it's creamer, at least it seemed creamer to me. But it's so good! Of course the few times that I've tried it - it was because our friend gave us some for free as he had brought it with him to a party or something, but it's because of the price that we don't drink it all the time.
