I have too many! Lol.
I think my top five are: (in no specific order)
Don't Think Twice It's Alright by Bob Dylan
Eleventeen by Kimya Dawson
Colleen by Joanna Newsom
Albatross by Judy Collins
Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key by Woody Guthrie
No they didn't. They sang an awesome Christmas song. I love Straight No Chaser. One of those youtube success stories. The internet discovered their funny funny Christmas compilation from back when they were a college a capella group and it blew up. They all left their big kid jobs to get back together and they released more Christmas albums and got to collaborate with a lot of famous people. I just saw that they're going on tour, I think I'll go. :D
I enjoy Christmas music, but I try to keep it for Christmas. Though I listen to some things out of season now and then. It's just that it's so easy to burn out on Christmas music since they play it earlier and earlier these days x_x
I try to wait till after Thanksgiving to fill my CD player with Christmas music. Didn't make it last year though. Start of November my CD player was filled with Christmas music. Oh and just so you are aware my CD player holds sixty CDs.
I don't listen to as much Christmas music anymore. Gets old real quick listening to the same songs over and over again. I work in a grocery store and right after thanksgiving and up to Christmas is nothing but Christmas music. And seems like it's always the same few songs on a loop. All day.
@Kay - I understand. My work has some music subscription, that's basically one long playlist that plays the same stuff over and over and over and over. Like, you never hear as much Ace of Base as you hear at my work place. They had a few hits back in the 90s and then disappeared. My work plays all of those hits with far too much frequency. -_-
