I was distracted by being excited for another album that's coming out in two weeks.

What album would that be?

Mastodon's The Hunter.

I already feel extremely spoiled by Powerman 5000's Copies, Clones & Replicants that came out last month, and Mobile Deathcamp and Red Hot Chili Peppers releasing their new albums (Clear and Present Anger and I'm with You, respectively) last week. I'm going to just drop dead on the 27th when The Hunter comes out.

I'm still waiting on new albums from my favourite bands...So long from now still...

I've never had so many release them all around the same time so I'm extra giddy though nothing beats last year. My favorite band released their last album on my birthday :)
