Mwa ha ha ha. Rad has gotten sucked into Minecraft.

Awww, I'm a distraction. *sobs* I'll go Wifey. I wouldn't want to keep you form your art!

Lionheart:
I could never get into playing Minecraft. All my brothers and cousins play it. I honestly don't fine it amusing.
By the way, you wouldn't be a Final Fantasy VIII fan would you?

White:
I'm still in high school, so I have another year to think about what I want to do. If I can't think of anything then I might just want to focus on working. Though both my parents are against that idea.

Cookie:
Hopefully that wouldn't be too soon. The thread just started being more alive.

@Cookie: Yes, me and a friend are gonna play some on stream on Saturday.

@Geek: No I'm not, that's part of the name though.
Rad from Final Fantasy Tactics, the generic squire named Rad (or Lad in the War of the Lions PSP version)
And Lionheart from Final Fantasy 8, which I absolutely hate and thought was the worst FF at the time.
Nowadays though, I've reserved that for X-2, which was by far much worse.

@Cookie: Nooo stay! *clings* You're a good distraction.
Also, I have a short and funny story for you. :)

@Geek Box: Well, don't rush into college in all honesty. It's a waste of time and your money if you do.
But if you do go, take the basic classes first. The ones you need for just about every major.
Most people do end up changing majors before they even graduate. ^_^

He's gonna pick out some kinda adventure map for us to play with, we just need to find a good voice communication software we can use, too many of them we'll have issues with.

@Jellybean: That it is, I'm still weirded out by how many of them are married. ._.
lol I'm always drawing.
Though, probably annoys my friends, cause whenever they ask what I've been up to I always answer drawing. XD

@Cookie: This proves how small a world it really is.
My brother is going to the same college and has two classes with my ex.
Just found out today. I'm totally going like this right now. --> :squee:
Yes, it is that short a story.

Lionheart:
Oh I see. No wonder why I recoqnize your name. Final Fantasy Tactics was fun.
I didn't think Final Fantasy VIII was THAT bad. Then again, my opinion is a bit bias because VIII was indeed my favorite game.
I thought XIII was much worst of a game then X-2.

Cookie:
If you could then that would be amazing.

White:
I've been told that as well. Though my parents are rather Pushy on the subject, they want me to go straight into College after High school. Oh Asian parents and their high expectations of me being a [Insert a high salary job here.] It's rather stressful.

Jelly:
Likewise. It's a pleasure to meet you.

@Rad - Ventrillo?

@Wifey - Fun times. *huggles*

When I was in high school, I was a state officer for the FHa (Future Homemakers of America), but I had to resign when we moved to Scotland. :( Then I came back to the US, started college and then went off to the Disney College Program in Orlando Florida. I kept seeing this guy who was really familiar. Finally, I went up to him and asked if we'd been in FHA together, and we had. He had always been dancing around and that's what he was at Disney doing. He was a dancer there.

That's my "It's a Small world" story :D

@Geek Box: Oh wow, yeah I can see that being difficult.
I went to a private school where just about everyone in the class who graduated before mine went into business. Same with most of my classmates. Makes it awkward for someone who is more artistically inclined. :/
I'm glad my parents were okay when I dropped out first year of college. Course, the whole money issue was a big one. We're not exactly in a good state with money. So it worked out really well...until now. I'm getting sick of home.

@Cookie: Actually, he's the one I'm still in somewhat contact with. And a very nice kid.
So, looking forward to seeing how the two get along. :D
And, gives me more chances to get out of the house. :eager:

That's awesome, so much more amazing than mine. Shoot, I actually have lots of "It's a Small World" stories.
One time I ended up working with a kid who I used to go to school with. He left after a year. Never saw him again, until we ended up at the same job 3-4 years later.
Also saw someone from a church I used to go to at a grocery store. Though I didn't recognize him at the time.

I so have that song stuck in my head right now.

@WiFi: I can imagine.
Awww, but it's great that you draw! If it annoys them at all it's probably 'cause you're good and they can't draw a stick. *nods*
Although I know what you mean, I'm sure my friends get tired of me always answering "knitting" when they ask what I'm up to. xD

@Geek: How do you like Mene so far?

@Jellybean: Lol, haven't found too many who find it annoying. Least not yet.
Though, a lot of them think I'm being unrealistic when I say it's what I want to do for a job of sorts. It's like, yeah it is, but doesn't mean I'm not gonna stop doing it. I love it, and why do something you hate when you can do something you love.

@Cookie: Aw, night hubby. *huggles, catches a kiss*

Oh wow. You have some really nice set of parents there. If I were to drop out of anything my parents would have been able to be okay with it. I do hope you the best for finding a job, I have a friend who was similar to your situation and she ended up working as an art teacher. So maybe that could be something you could do? Though I do think you needed to have at least a year of college. Being at home for a long period of time is such a bore, every time I get a pay check I treat my family out because they all felt the same way. Haha.

Jelly:
I absolutely love Mene. Couldn't have ask for a better community to find out of luck.
The friendly atmosphere is what really keeping me on this site.

Awww, Night night Cookie. *huggles* Sleep well.

@WiFi: I don't think it's unrealistic. There are a lot of people that make a living with art. You just have to work at it and get your foot in the door, so to speak.

@Geek: I agree. I love how friendly people on Mene are. So you just stumbled upon us I take it? Have you been part of other Avatar sites before? *is being nosy xP *

@Geek Box: I know. I love them, even though they're kinda starting to annoy me right now. :(
Depends on the school I think. I know of one that I could try to be an art teacher there without a degree, but I'm not really sure I want to go back there. Might also end up being some sort of volunteer job in that case. Which, wouldn't be too bad. Still would be getting out of the house.
I do have a year of college under my belt, it just happens to be for drama/acting instead of art/illustration. Not that drama isn't a form of art, it's just not a paper one. ...er...if you know what I mean.
Aw, that's really nice of you to do that. Yeah, I think I've done so much bonding with some of my family members we're kinda getting sick of each other.

@Jellybean: Aw, glad you think so. *huggles* I find so many people who think it's a big dream a normal person can't achieve in this day in age. They look at me like I'm crazy or something. :P
And that is what I'm sorta working on right now. Have to get past being quiet all the time though. >_<
Internet can help with that. :D

@WiFi: I think a person can turn any dream into a workable job. Granted some of them are harder to achieve, but it can be done. So I don't think you're crazy at all. =D
And you're right, the internet is really good at making people less quiet. lol. I'm so much more vocal online then I am in person. But I' working on that too. =3

Jelly:
Why yes I have been part of another Avatar Community before, but due to many reasons I stop and once I return to my old Community, it was utterly dead. All the forums were a year old, and the only people online were Me and a few other guest. It was really heart breaking. And not wanting to go back to Gaia like I did in the pass, I went to my last hope and google'd. I was very iffy at first, didn't know if I wanted to rejoin a new community and start over, but now I'm really glad I joined. Don't worry, it's only natural to want to know. Haha.

White:
I understand what you mean. You're the type of artist that require the works of hands rather than the body. IF that makes any sense, haha I'm really bad at wording words. Yeah, I've bonded with my family way to much I get annoyed easily by them now. It's rather unusual, so the moment I can get out I try to do just that. That way no feelings are hurt, and everyone is safe from me. Haha.

@Geek: Oh, that's sad to hear. I don't think I've ever been part of a site that goes belly up like that. Then again Gaia and Mene are the only ones I've ever been part of, so I don't have much comparison wise. xD I think Mene is a great community to start over in though. With all the people around it's almost like not starting over at all...well, aside from the running around in your undies bit. xD

@Jellybean: And that is why I never ever laugh at anyone's dream goals. And more power to you if you're got a hard one.
I'm actually starting to become a little more vocal offline as well. It helps if you don't care about what people will think when you say something weird. That took ages to learn. And I still have issues with it. :(

@Geek Box: Lol, it makes sense. I like acting, but I'm that much better with pen/pencil and paper.
Ugh, I tried explaining that to my brother once. The whole, I don't want to be bothering you(or you're bothering me) so I'm just going to leave. He thinks it's running away, but it's really not. I think it's more like putting water on the fire instead of feeding more wood to it.
Then again, his situation is a little more different than mine is.

Yeah, it's quite sad, but the past is the past. I'm completely fine with that bit haha. It's like Gaia before it became big. You started out with nothing and had to work your way up. So, I'm glad that it's doing that. Plus, you're only in your undies for a good 3 days at most, there are plenty of charities in this community to help with that problem.

White:
Yeah, the problem with that method is people usually think you're running away, like my brother thought I was doing that as well, but we eventually worked it out. Until you move out, it's going to be a bit tough, but theres really nothing to do, but to try to get through it.

Mene is an awesome community. I've gotten out of my lurker habits here. :D

@Geek Box: It's even more amusing cause if I look back, my brother did something similar to what I'm doing now. Funny how people work. :/
Yeah, can't quite move out yet, and don't really want to either. It's nice to have a roof over your head, even if you're not exactly happy with the people you live with.
Well, day by day, I'm working on fixing the situation. I've found it helps to have someone to complain to as well. Not necessarily having them give advice, cause a lot of time I already have an answer, but to just talk about it. Sorta like you want to tell a story, but it's only half written. ...or something like that. .__.

@WiFi: I learned a long time ago to not care what people think if I'm being weird. You either like me or you don't. I can't please everyone and I'll be darned if I try. And thumbs up for being more vocal. =] I'm sure you'll get even better about not caring the more you work at it. =D

@Geek: I remember when you ran around Gaia in your undies. The site was already pretty big by the time I joined though. Which was a bit of a bummer.
Hey! Had you been around the Wallflower thread yesterday...well...Wednesday, you would have fit right in. It was Naked Wednesday. We run around in our undies then. *nod*
