@Jellybean: It's a headache trying to please everyone. So I only please those who's company I enjoy. ^_^
Well, considering I found a few people who don't mind and actually kinda pay attention when I'm on a roll about drawing, the not caring part is getting easier. I always feel weird when I start rambling about proportions and colors, especially when the person I'm talking to isn't into art. It's one of those topics where you're obsessed about, but can't seem to find like minded people. Reminds me of politics and religion for some reason. O_o

Yeah, I know what you mean, sometimes you just want to complain and not hear the other side talk since you already have the answer but sometimes their response is never what you expect. Or something along those lines. Having a roof over ones head is indeed top priority. I can't say I want to move out yet either but if the opportunity arises then I'm going to have to think about it.
Jelly:
Those were good times. Everyone was all about the forums and rushing to their parents for use of credit cards to buy things. Oh how time does fly. IT's quite easy to turn something so good, into something so bad really easily.
Oh man! I missed that? If only I created an account sooner!

@WiFi: Well that's good. It's always best to talk with people that are like minded or at least don't mind you rambling their ear off. lol. Have you thought about looking around the forums on DeviantArt? (if they have any). I'm sure you could find people there that share your interest.
I managed to get lucky with my hobby since my Mom likes it too, and there is a whole community online full of people that knit and design just as much as I do. So it's great to talk with them. =)
@Geek: It's still all about the forums here which is great. I don't think I ever posted this much on Gaia. Even after I found a great bunch of people to talk to. And yes, you totally missed out on Naked Wednesday. xD You'll just have to stop by during the next one. =D.

@Geek Box: Very true.
It was nice to meet you as well. Good night. ^_^
@Jellybean: They do have some forums actually. I should go looking through there once in a while. It might also get my name out there just a little bit more. ^_^
It's always nice to find people who enjoy your hobbies as much as you do. Means we call all sqwee about the same thing together. :D

Night night Geek. It was very nice meeting you too.
@WiFi: Well there you go! Get out there and post on DA a little every now and again. I'm sure it would get your page views up more too once people see you around and click on your name. Or however it is you get to peoples profiles.
Yes we can. =D And fellow hobbyists are always happy to share information with each other. Which is always really great too.
May I ask what got you interested in drawing?

XD That's how it works. What might also help, just a little, is doing some fanart drawings. People seem to eat those up like popcorn.
That we are. At least for the most part. ^_^
Hm...no idea really. Probably my mom constantly saying my drawings were amazing or something like that. I've supposedly been drawing since I was barely a year old. O_O
It's funny cause I always wanted to be an artist since I was little, but I kinda lost that goal while growing up. Started to seem unrealistic. But after a few years of not really drawing anything, I got to miss it and realized how much I really love drawing. And showing people my drawings. I especially love giving them as presents. I like seeing that people are happy with my drawings. Even though it kinda looses the point of trying to sell them. :P

I'm glad you found your love for drawing again. I think an appreciation for something artistic or something productive is always good to have. And just think of it this way; by giving your drawings to people that really like them, they might be seen by other people that want one too, and then you can sell one to them.

I'm glad about that too. ^_^
I even realized another reason of why I love art yesterday. It's because it's pretty much a long form project. Always changing, and so many things you can learn both old and new. And as much as I might complain about long projects, I still love them. Mostly cause the end product feels that much more awesome. :D
That's a good way to look at that, I think someone actually told be about that once. A really long time ago. >_<
So, how did you find your way to knitting?

Plus drawing is a hobby that always improves. You can't keep drawing and not end up with something amazing. =]
I learned to knit when I was in 4th grade actually. It was part of our Home Ec. class. But since I was only 9 back then it wasn't something I stuck with. I got into it again after graduating from High School, when I was browsing TV channels at 3am and stumbled on a show called Knitty Gritty. The guest knitter for the episode was working on a scarf and since there was nothing else on I stuck with the channel. And then I thought "Hey, I remember how to do that....sort of." So I asked my Mom if she could re-teach me (all the women on my mother's side have been knitting for as long as I can remember). And I've been doing it ever since.

It's very true. Something is wrong when it doesn't. Though time is weird with things like art. It can be just months for one person, and years for another. It all depends on the person and their perseverance.
That is an awesome way to get back to knitting. From a 3am tv show. Lol, proves that the night owl thing isn't as bad as people say.
It's also good that you knew a little before hand, it makes it easier to pick back up.

Oh I know. I like drawing although I personally was never very good at it. One of my friends in Highschool would draw all the time. She and her sister were both really good at it too; must have been a twin thing. xD And she's sit there drawing when a lesson was really boring and at the end of the hour and a half she'd have drawn this amazing "doodle" on the back of her notebook.
Since you've stuck with it for so long you must be really good too. Did you take any classes in school?
I suppose being a night owl really was a good thing in this case. Lol. And knowing a bit certainly did make it easier. I used to find it incredibly annoying when I did it for school but now I find it relaxing. I remember dreading my final project in the class; outfit a favorite stuffed animal with a hat, scarf, and vest. Homework never bored me to tears that quickly.

I'll tell you what I tell everyone else. I'm good. Not amazing-super-tasticly-awesome, but I am good. ^_^
I had some art classes in high school, but most everyone who took it agreed it wasn't the greatest. I honestly think it may have hindered me, cause for some reason I never wanted to show them what I could really do. I never put much effort into my school drawings. The ones I doodled on during class were much better. XD
I did take a theatre design class in college that was a lot of fun. The professor actually asked me if I was interesting in going into the designing part of theatre instead of the acting part. It made me happy, when he said that. ^_^
That's a hard project right there. Hm...maybe you could have watched a movie or something while doing it. Might have helped. Which stuffed animal of yours did you pick? If you don't mind me asking.

High School Art classes tend to suck if they aren't good. My school managed to get lucky I think with teachers that were really passionate about what they taught. I loved my art class.
Oh wow, that's great. When you say theater design I'm imagining the scenery for the plays? Is that it?
A movie would have probably helped. But I think the repetition of the motions is what made it really boring. When you're doing the same thing for hundreds of stitches it get's old, fast.
I chose this large bunny. It was like 12 inches tall and had these huge floppy ears. It was amazing to snuggle with and I figured he could use some clothes (I was 9...I thought all my stuffed animals needed clothes. xD) made especially by me. And he was the only one that was to our teachers high specifications. She didn't want slackers getting off easy by bringing in 3 inch bears.
Mwahaha, I have found you on DA. *gleeful cackle* I think you're rather good. I especially love your Blue Jay sketch. That's amazing.

A good art class was actually one reason why I wanted to switch schools, but I was on my last couple years and felt it would have been pointless to change.
Scenery and costume basically. There was a lot more work involved, but that's the basics. XD
Especially when your a kid and always looking for the next best thing.
Lol. I would have assumed it'd be something small, guess the teacher closed that loophole.
 How did you find me!? Lol, was probably pretty easy. I could have given you a link.
Aw, thank you...I think I drew that in high school actually. O_o
Only started dating my artwork this past...year. :headdesk:

Oh that's still really neat though. Our school sadly lost it's Drama teacher and all our plays with her. We only had one play my Junior year and ended up using scenery from a previous play because it suited out needs. We were lame like that.
Oh yeah, our teacher was cruel like that. It couldn't be less then 10 inches I think.
*cackle* I'm just that good of a sleuth. Actually I thought you had an art shop here and you do, so I looked at your artwork and was linked to DA. xD Awww! Lol. Can you guess the dates on some of your work? At last the year?

Lol, I actually ended up scripting a christmas play, and our senior play one year. Otherwise, we might not have had either. Was really annoying with the red tape thing, but a lot of fun at the end.
Man, I would have settled for 6 inches. Not 3 but not 10 either. I know what kids are like.
I did have an art shop, but it's kinda closed now. Don't really feel like re-opening it either.
Year for the old stuff, and month for some of the newer things. The DA dates aren't really accurate either cause I don't always post my art on there right away. >_<

You scripted a play? That's so cool. Man, what haven't you done relating to the fine arts?
Yeah, but you wouldn't be a German teacher, now would you? lol. There is no such thing as "taking it easy" when it comes to German teachers. I think 10 iches was her way of being nice.
Oh, then you might want to change the sign on your shop to closed. It still says Open. xD Well as long as you know the general date for yous art you can always go in and change it if you ever felt like it. My dates on there aren't accurate either. All the glass stuff is actually 2004-06. But I'm too lazy to change it. >.<
Well, I'm off to bed me thinks. It's already 3:30. Have a good night WiFi.
