:P It's been stressful here in the Cookie Cave lately.

What's been stressin' the Cookie out?

A lot of things. Lots of drama and stress and Cookie being distracted by other things.

I got rather sick today. Then after coming home from lunch with my brother we came home to find the lock on the door was broken and I had to do some ridiculous acrobatics in high heels and dress clothes balancing on beams in our attic to get us back into the house. *sighs*

Well that just sucks.

*rolls around the thread* I'd like to stop being sick today. I'd like that very much. I'd also like a unicorn and a chocolate cake. If someone could please arrange this for me, that would be lovely.

I've been reading books! And since they are books and not fanfiction, they require me to sprawl out on my bed and spend hours not connected to the internet :rofl: It's been a while since I've read books and not fanfiction.

I re-read Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsong and Dragonsinger. Now I'm doing the third in the triloty, Dragondrums. Not gonna bother with the other Pern books right now though, those were my favorites. I also picked up the third book of a different trilogy from the library, so I want to go back and re-read the first two, which I read years and years ago, before I read the last. And on top of that, I have to read a book about soccer and divorce for the kid I tutor and I took out a bunch of interesting reference books I want to make it through but I probably won't because reference books are rather thick and I'd have to dedicate to just that to make it though. But hey, I might do that. Probably not though, I'm still addicted to the internet XD

When I was young, our English book had all of Dragonsong in it with really nice illustrations. I read the whole thing in like a night, then I had to get the next ones. Then I got more Anne McCaffrey books. But Dragonsong is still my favorite :D I reccomend it.

Yeah, it's by this guy Matt Christopher. He wrote over a hundred sports novels for children. It's crazy!

I bought a bunch of books at the Friends of the Library book sale. We went on the last day. At first everything was two books for the price of one, but then everything was ten cents! So I got ten books for a buck :D
