It means they sit up there like they are the kings (or lords) of creation.
They look down their noses at you, and act all high and mighty.

I don't think that cats can look any other way. The only time you see cats looking downtrodden and defeated is when they are being rescued. I dont think they can help it though. :XD

I think they go fast in that area cause it's country and they are big dogs, or they will be big dogs. Have you put up fliers like in gas stations or tractor supply (if you ahve one) or local pet stores?

Really, well when you don't have to clean up after them you just get to reap the benefits. All play and no work. I can see why he wouldn't mind keeping them.
