I have only ever had one name change here on Menewsha, but I've changed it about three years ago, so there are very few who still remember. Does anyone? ;)

When I first started out in Menewsha, I never intended to stay. In fact, I didn't really come here on happy terms. I initially registered to stalk a scammer from Gaia and chose a username as far off as possible from my actual username, something I would never use. Which of course, I ended up using a few months later while I was looking for other sites (apart from Gaia and Zantarni) to try out. :lol:

I felt quite uncomfortable with that username, as I never intended for it to be used but I was not inclined to change it, as I do not usually change usernames. Nevertheless, a year later, I asked a good friend, Luenola Marxiel here, for name suggestions, but something close to the original. Hence, Iroase Delschatten.

And also, as I get many questions on how to pronounce it, it goes:
Ee-roh-ah-say Del-scha-thun (hard t)

Ohh, I always thought it was 'Ee-roys Dells-chatten' :XD;;

See what I mean? :lol:

Iroase is a Japanese word, but Schatten is German, so that is what influences the pronounciations.

McLovin' is just awesome. That's why I chose it. Simple as that.

Mine is somewhat..uh...lolol I don't know. I just find it pretty. I want a username near to my real name. I like both words Maroon and Surreal. It sounds mysterious, though. One of my favorite colors is Maroon. I like dark colors. :yes:

I prefer being called by name, so I usually add my name as my username, so I won't have to keep reintroducing myself by a different name and confusing people. x.x
Faye means fairy (in some language that I forgot) so it was a nickname for me in the headspace. So put two and two together, bam, LillianFaye.

My name started out as Sora`. Sora is my username on every avatar community there is (except Gaia, Roliana, and here). The name came from my #1 favorite character - Sora from Kingdom Hearts. However, the little ` character in the name was bothering me, so I just changed my name to Larxene, another character from Kingdom Hearts. But it still bothers me that I can't have the name Sora since it was taken back in 2007 and is never used after the few posts that were made back then. I would really like to have it since it will match with my other usernames on the other sites plus I would actually use it every day.

It's silly but I've become attached to the name Sora and so I get mad whenever it just happens to be taken before I can get it. The only site that I don't get angry on when it comes to the name is Gaia because I didn't know about Kingdom Hearts at the time I was joining (2005) and I was on a big Digimon run back then.

And I don't know. :O I changed it without actually telling too many people about it (though I did mention a few times the name I wanted to change it to, just not in Chinese/Kanji :XD), so when it did change, I just continued to post and stuff in my usual threads. :sweat:

My username comes from a book called Nightmare Abbey.

It's also the name of one of my RP characters.

Ling is how you pronounce my Chinese name in Mandarin. Not the most original origin, but I'm quite satisfied with it, I've been using variations of this name for years now.

My username is one that has stuck with me since I was fourteen.

One of my best friends in school was diagnosed with cancer and she gave it to me as a nickname a few months before she passed away.

A MoonRose is a legendary sort of flower that blooms only when the moon is full, but she gave me the nickname because the Moon is of the light but has a hidden dark side to it and a Rose bush is forever growing and has thorns.

She felt that it suited my personality and now I continue to use it as a reminder to her memory. Sometimes I variate on it a little bit and also call myself LunaRose, depending on the site I am using it on or the mood I'm in at the time.

My username confuses people.
I just laugh whenever they get dirty thoughts of thinking too much. xD
