Okay where should we start just another 'boring' day at Torchwood HQ?

Yeah. Would you mind starting? I would but I'm terrible at it.

Captian Jack Harkness sighed as he sat in his desk looking at the Doctor's hand thoughtfully. No one had arrived yet so he wasn't worried about attracting strange glances while he pondered the former hand. Eventually he would find the Doctor and get his answers. Frowning he picked the case the hand was in up and put in back where it was among other alien clutter. The then moved back slowly to his desk thinking as the giant Terodactol flew over head. He smirked some before checking the computers to see if there was any hits on strange alien tech. So far nada. Today was a quiet day.

Ianto Jones stepped into the tourist office that they were using as a base and hit the secret button that led down to the Hub. He knew that nobody would be in yet. Except, of course, Jack. He was there all the time. He went through the hallway, down the elevator, and through the cog door before glancing around the Hub and heading to the kitchen area. He knew that Jack would want coffee right away, so best get on it. Besides, he needed some himself.

Jack now bored with from no successful searches decided to scroll through some archives reading old cases. Glancig at the clock he realised that it was around the time when Ianto usually showed up. And that meant two things to Jack. 1) Coffee and 2) Eye candy other than himself and the Doctor's hand, which wasn't really too visually appealing. Then agian Jack was a 51st century human so all bets were off. Still an actually fully living being like Ianto was preferred.

Ianto made two cups of coffee and took Jack's to his office. Seeing that he wans't there, the cup was placed on the dest while he went to go find his boss while sipping his own. He found him after another couple of minutes. "Good morning, sir. There is coffee on your desk." he told him before continuing through the archieves. Might as well get some work done while he was down here.

Jack grinned looking at Ianto with a wink, "You're the best…" He said as he walked over to his desk grabbing the coffee drinking it gratefully. He then he headed back over to Ianto, "I've been checking, so far nothing…pretty dull…" He said starring at Ianto.

Ianto didn't look up as Jack left. He just got started organizing. He could tell Jack had been messing with the stuff. Everything was a mess. And he had just gotten done organizing this section as well! Sighing, he set his cup down and got started. "I understand, sir. I'm sure you have some paperwork to do." he told him.

Jack took a drink as he watched Ianto reorganising all the papers he messed up. "Not much left..." Jack said dully watching Ianto, "But I probably should go finish it up..." He said patting Ianto on the back as Jack headed back to his desk drinking his coffee with a grin.

Ianto briefly glanced up when Jack left. He was slightly surprised when he said he would go do it. It normally took forever to get him to do the paperwork. So this was a pleasant surprise. It would be a better one if it actually got done. He glanced at his watch for a moment and figured he had some time before the others got it. So that gave him enough time to get started on his work before needing to go make coffee.

Of course when Jack got to his office he attempted to start his paper work. This lasted about five minutes before the Captain became bored and began to twirl his pen around throwing it in the air and catching it several times. He whistled a bit become quickly bored with the pen. He put it down and got up to go check in with Ianto and see if anyone else had shown up or if there was a hit. Though he doubted it. Most people came in 'late' then again Jack practically lived in the Hub so he was always early.

While Ianto worked, the lights started flickering. Sighing, he figured that the bulbs needed to be changed soon before they blew out. With that, he turned and went back to the main area of the Hub. "Jack. I'm running to Tesco's. Be back soon." he called, not knowing if he heard, but also not stopping to wait.

Jack paused with what he was doing as he heard Ianto, "Okay stay safe…" He chuckled looking at the blinking lights thoughtfully. If he remembered correctly they were just changed recently. He smirked mentally blaming 21st century technology.

"I will." Ianto told him, heading out. It didn't take to long for him to run to the store. Though while he was there, he picked up some coffee beans as well. They were starting to run low. When he returned to the Hub, he took the beans to the kitchen area and headed down to the archives to change the light bulbs.

((hmm would you prefer she was?))

Jack while Ianto was gone got about one page done of his paper work. Which for him was a miracle. Jack wasn't quite sure how he managed to get the work done. He smirked as he put his pen down to look back to watch Ianto change the lights. "Didn't we just change those a while ago?"

{{Personally, I hate Gwen. But she does come in during the first episode. So might as well go ahead and add her. Also. We need to decide who's going to be the other people. I personally want to be Tosh as well as Ianto.}}

"A few months ago, I think." Ianto told him, throwing the bad bulbs away. "Would you like more coffee, sir?" he asked, already heading towards the kitchen, seeing as Tosh was coming in now. His mind was already set on the technicians preference for coffee. It wasn't hard to make, so he wasn't worried.

((I'd like to play Owen. Gwen, who I hate too, I suppose I can play. ))

Jack nodded thoughtfully, "Hmm strange…" At the offer of more coffee Jack nodded, "Yes…more coffe would be great…" Jack smiled looking at Ianto leaning back in his chair finishing the rest of his current coffee. Ianto would make a great man servant, Jack thought with a smirk.

"Good morning, Tosh." Ianto called to the girl as she took her seat. She smiled at him. "Morning, Ianto." she told him, going back to the program she was working on the other day. It took a few minutes for the coffee to brew. He took a cup first to Tosh, then to Jack. "Anything else you need, sir?" he asked, setting the cup down.

((Okay or we could just kill her off…xD))

Jack took the cup greedily taking a drink before ht though, "No not really…not now anyway…" He said smiling at Ianto to dismiss him. He took another sip of his coffee looking down at the peice of paperwork in front of him. He had his pen ready to wring inhis hand but he didn't do so yet. He just scowled at it reading the same line over and over.

"Of course, Sir. Just let me know if you need anything." Ianto said, leaving. He smiled at Tosh before going back down to the archives. He had a few hours before the others came in. Then he'd get them coffee before heading up to the Tourist Office. Sure, it was just their cover. But he liked working up there anyway. And people did come in every now and then, after all.

Jack sighed as he finally got some work done. It was slow going, but at least he was getting some work done. A lot more than he usually did. Smiling to himself as he worked. He had something on his mind, a vague goal. He just had to keep working through the papers. He would often take breaks and drink his coffee getting distracted easily.

As time went by, Ianto came back up when Owen and Gwen arrived. He refreshed everybody's coffee before heading up to the Tourist office. Time to get some work done up there. Another few hours passed before he came down with lunch. "Lunch is here." he called out, loud enough to be heard. He had gotten Chinese for lunch today.

Hearing the call of food Owen quickly jumped up eagerly, "About time..." He said scoffing as he grabbed some food, and quickly began to eat. Eventually he muttered a thanks in between bites.

Jack came down shortly after saying hello to Owen and Tosh. He thanked Ianto for the food taking some for himself, "You'll be happy to know I have actually completed some paperwork..." Owen coughed choking on a bit of rice before clearing his throat and staring at Jack.
