Jessie smiled and followed him to the car. "So where exactly are we going to go Noah?" she asked him softly.

NOah smiled at her, "how about if we drive around and take what we like." he said as he smiled at her.

"Like justified stealing?" she asked and smiled. "Okay then, let's go do that." she said and smiled back before getting into the car and buckling up.

Noah smiled and nodded, "yeah, but it isn't really stealing since no one really owns this stuff anymore." he said and then headed out of the house after closing the gates.

Jessie giggled and nodded. "I see, fair enough...let's get going Noah!" she said and smiled. She couldn't wait to decorate the house with him and wondered what it would look like when they were done.

NOah smiled and nodded as he started to drive down the street. When he got to a certain street he slowed down, "want to check out the houses here?" he asked as he looked at her.

Jessie looked over at Noah then at the houses and nodded. "Sure." she said and smiled. "I'm sure we can find something here." she added.

noah smiles at jessie and then got out of hte car. Pulling out his pistol he started to look around and then smiled, "the coast is clear." he said happily.

When she heard him, Jessie hopped out of the car and smiled over at him. "Okay then." she said and looked around at the abandoned houses. It saddened her to see that they were the only ones alive.

Noah smiled and gently took her hand into his, "come on, lets look around." he said and knew that she felt sad about being the only ones alive.

Jessie nodded and stayed close to him as they stared to look around. "I wonder what we'll find here..." she said to him as her eyes scanned the place.

((so which do you think dog or a kid?))

Noah smiles and took her hand, "I dont know but hopefully something good." he said as he started to lead her towards one of the houses that had a door open.

((A kid would be helpful don't you think?))

Jessie smiled and followed Noah to a house with an open door. "Careful Noah...what if there is a monster in tehre waiting for us to get close so it can strike?" she whispered.

((okay, boy or girl?))

Noah pulled up his gun and smiles at Jessie, "if something is in here I will make quick work of it." he said as he smiled at Jessie and slowly made his way inside.

((I don't know why, but I want it to be a little boy.))

Jessie looked at the gun in his hands and smiled with a nod. "I believe you Noah..." she whispered and slowly followed him inside. It was dark inside with only one ray of light coming through the doorway and another through a broken window.

Noah slowly made his way threw the house and kept his gun close. He stopped in his tracks when he heard the sound of footsteps. Looking at Jessie he wondered what it could be.

Jessie followed him inside and at the sound of footsteps, she froze. "It wasn't me..." she whispered and shrugged. Jessie looked around the house and continued to stay close to Noah.

Noah looked around and thrn saw something dart into a room. Pushing jessie behind him he slowly mlved forward. Nudging the door open with his foot he got ready to shoot. Yet what he saw was thr last thing be exlected. A little boy who looked to be about seven stood behind a homemade sheild. In his hands he held a gun, his hands shaking violently.

"What was that?" she whispered as she followed close behind Noah into a small and empty room. When she saw what was inside she gasped. "It's a little boy!" she whispered and looked at the boy and smiled. "Noah he's a human boy I think...he looks like one anyway." she said and shrugged.

NOah slowly lowered his gun and just stared at the boy. The boy just stared back but slowly he dropped the gun and sheild. Running oer to Jessie he hugged her legs and cried, shaking a little bit. Noah was surprised but guessed the kid had every right to do this. Patting his head he looked at Jessie, "I think he is safe." he said and smiled a little bit.

Jessie stared at the boy in disbelief and was surprised when the boy ran to her and hugged her legs crying. "Oh!...it's okay sweetie...you're okay." she cooed and stroke his hair softly and looked at Noah. "Get the gun...we may need it..." she whispered and crouched down to see the boy at eye level. "Don't cry, we'll help you..." she said and smiled as she wiped away the boy's tears.

Noah nodded and headed over to get the gun. He had to admit that if he was in thr kids shoes he would be doing thr same thing. Thr boy continued to cry when she wiped his eyes, "i..i thought ... I... Was alone." he managed to say before wrapping his arms around jessies neck and hugging her again.

"Well you're not alone sweetie...what's your name?" she asked and smiled as she wiped away the boy's tears and held him close in her arms. "There, there sweetie...you're safe." she whispered and looked at Noah. "What do we do Noah?" she asked him.

The boy clung to her and let her wipe his tears away, "my name is Carter." he said as he stayed close to her. Noah looked at the two and sighed, "we should take him, he isn't safe here and wouldn't survive very long if we left him." he said as he looked at her.

Jessie held the boy and gently rubbed his back. "Carter...such a nice name." she said and smiled. Looking at Noah she nodded. "Okay then. We'll take him home with us." she said happily.
