So in October of last year I moved from a house in Rimrock that I had lived in for about 8 years into the house I'm in now.
Today I just found out that we have to move AGAIN to a different house even farther away from my high school.
I'm actually a big fan of change and I think that there are too many bad memories tied to this house for me. I'm glad we're moving but I'm kind of mad that I have to pack up my room again. The new house has cool stuff any everything but its soooooo far out of town that I won't ever get to hang out with me because their parents won't want to drive to mah haus. D:
Sad day.

Things to discuss!
1. How often do you move?
2. Do you like moving? (If so, why? If not, why?)
3. What were the reasons for you to move?
For example: "My rent was up!" "We lost our house!" "My parents hated our house!" "A giant Sasquatch crushed our home!" etc.

When I was little my parents made us move a lot. We went back and forth from a lot of places. I was born some where around California hospitals, then my father moved us to Texas. Stayed there a bit because my grandma was there, we then move to Georgia where we moved in with my Aunt and Uncle, before my Aunt tried to kill my mom and accuse my father of false crimes, we lived with my mom friend and her three sons. o.o; We moved back to them twice I think, we kept going back and forth around houses, it got annoying because I lose friends and so I just didn't make any. D; Now we live here after living with my other Aunt and Uncle, they're not crazy though. ^^ Also my little cousin became a whore...

I actually want to be able to live in a motor home and just travel all the time. Honestly, that would be the most awesome thing ever. I hate being in one place for too long. The only problem is that I have to stay where I am because it's hard finding a job on the road. Heck, even if I can't afford a motor home I could live out of my car. It's just the job thing that's holding me down.

I HATE moving! Garage sales, boxes, long car rides, they all suck.

I've moved tons - here's the list.
Amsterdam, NL
to Grand Rapids, MI
to Hudsonville, MI
to Monett, MO
to Republic, MO
to Conway, AR
to Issaquah, WA
to Covington, WA
to Sumner, WA

The first move was military - my parents had lived in the US, but gone over for only a few years to be on a US base in the Netherlands - and was to get us back home. I don't remember that move, since I was an infant.

The second move was because my mom worked for a terrible company that took advantage of their workers and treated them very unfairly. She - with my family's famous temper - told her boss to shove off, and when she signed her unemployment papers, they were especially evil and basically had her sign a paper that said they could say whatever they wanted about her to any companies in the state she might try to move to after that. Things were very hard on us for a while...

So we moved to Missouri. From then until Covington, WA, it was just Dad changing jobs. He wasn't happy down south, and we knew he never would be. We expected to either end up near Seattle or Denver, his two favorite cities, and, well, we just ended up getting Seattle.

I harbor a lot of resentment towards my parents - particularly my dad - for moving us around so much. Most of the moving took place when I was a young teen, and it was the roughest time in my life possible to be moving so much. No matter how we got here, though, I'm grateful we landed in Seattle. I love Washington, and the Pacific Northwest.

I moved about 7 times when I was younger, then when I was 17 I moved to my grandmas (1), then to James's (2) then to my first rented room (3) then to this one persons (4) then back to James's (5) then to this place (7, 8 [I had to move stuff from 2 places]) in just 4 years.

Within another year, I'm going to be moved again. All 8 times I moved previously, my mom really helped me.

I've moved between two countries, been to 10 elementary and high schools and two universities (and looks like I'll be changing soon).
I've lived in the forest, jungle, beach, city, farmland and suburban places.
On average I live in a house for about a year. I'm 20 now.
Will be moving again next year to a new university, new country and new house.

Reasons for moving: education, rent, disagreements with landlords, end of contract, work, Asian Financial Crisis.

I'll never like moving. ^^' Even if you're used to it, it's no fun.

I've never really had to permanently move in my life. I've always lived with my mom but would go to my dad's house every other weekend for visitations. In college I moved into a dorm for the year and one year even lived in Paris but again those weren't really permanent moves. Now that I've graduated I moved in with my fiance's family but a lot of my stuff is still at my mom's house so I don't really consider this permanent either. I'm hoping my fiance and I will be able to move out and get our own place soon. It'll be weird to move for the first real time in my life. I'm sure it'll be hard but also pretty exciting too.

...Am I the only one who thought of Madagascar?
The dancing zebra and the block party of lemurs?

Well, I'm okay with moving even though
I've never really moved houses ever. o. o;
I like traveling even if I've hardly been
anywhere. I think when I'm older I'll
probably move constantly.
