I'm thinking a world mostly of our making. not the sort of world with cars and cell phones anyway.

I'm not really familiar with steampunk stuff myself. magic works for me. We can have some technology as we see fit I think. Some rules we might need to make up as we go.

What kind of setting do we want?

I'm not sure. I'm trying to think of the sort of world where a puppet makes sense. I guess there are a lot of animes that have fighting stuff with puppets. there's also the traveling show/circus route. any other ideas?

yeah. the toy store idea could be more cute and modern while the others more adventure. I guess I'd either like a very action heavy story or the toy store idea.

I like the toy store idea, just because it seems a little more unusual

they're all unusual to me, but I see your point! XD I can see it being the sort of toy store set off where not that many people look. The sort of store with oddities like living dolls. But maybe its not advertised that there's real magic so customers just think the stuff is odd, not special.

Hi there, could we try doing a mix of your ideas? How about we do a hired hand half-furry (like he/she's hired to kill or steal, whatever as long as they get paid) and someone who that hired hand wronged in the past? The one who was wronged wants revenge but soon learns why the hired hand is bad, may it be a traumatic experience, a curse or something. What do you think?
