I know the title of this Thread is catchy (or at least I hope it is), but I'm actually trying to find that documentary.
I'm terrible at Googling, but I did try - so now I'm asking for help.

My step-mom just told me not too long ago that she once watched a documentary where they had two tanks side by side: two octopus in one tank and several lobster in another one. In the documentary, they apparently addressed how they would find dead lobster remains by the tank each morning but didn't know who the culprit was - until they set up a camera one night and watched it the next day, revealing that one of the octopi was sneaking over to the other tank and back at night.

Does anyone know where I can find and watch this video?

There's this one here It's an octopus eating sharks though. It's only part of it too. Octopi are amazing critters.

I remember hearing about that a few weeks ago, but it was a text news report (from Yahoo) I think, and not an actual documentary. Good luck, it's an awesome story!

i watched an octopuss trying to excape a fish market in Japan.
he almost made it to the waters edge too.
but the fisherman caught him and brought him back.
they really are smart little suckers, *pun intended* aren't they?
i don't think this is what you are looking for but it is interesting in itself.

i think this is what you were referring to but still haven't found the original article for you.

I've seen various documentaries on octopuses (ocitpie?) and they're just fascinating! They can change their color in a instant, and even express anger. Their mouths are amazingly strong, they can crack shells.
