Well I've never been in such a difficult position before. I probably would have taken them to an optician to see what they recommended. >.>

I just saw this on Facebook and thought I would share. I never knew that some of these shapes were common...

Cool!

Have you tried Jamberry? (I'm sure somebody has asked already) I got a free sample and am trying it. I'm disappointed because it kinda bunched up at the end of my nail.

I actually just tried them for the first time. I'm trying to decide if I really like them or not. I can kind of feel them where I rasped it off at the end of my nail or like at the edges of my cuticles and it feels a bit weird. They do look really nice though and I'm hoping they will last quite a while.

My nails are "squoval" right now. I helped the guy out at the nail salon while sitting there with my friend while she had her nails done, so he shaped and painted my natural nails for me. I love them. Everyone thinks my nails are fake, but they're not. I like having the look without the hassle of having to keep up acrylics or destroy my nails to take them off.

How did you get a free sample of Jamberry? I'm interested in trying them, but I'm not too sure.

That was really nice of him! My nails are pretty much always round.

I'm finding that my Jamberrys are really rough at the tips and it's sort of bugging me. I wonder if I should try to put more clear polish over them to smooth them over.

Mine bubbled/wrinkled so they catch. It's annoying.

You can get a free sample from somebody who sells them or host a party.

Is the free sample a whole kit? Or just a few strips?

I only got two strips, so four nails. I got a nail file too, to file down the jamberry. i agree, it does make it rather rough though. I think when you host a party, you get a whole sheet?

I'm wondering if there isn't a better way to do the tips, that's really the part that's bugging me...

Hrm, I wonder if their website has any tips anywhere. My mom just sent them to me in the mail so I didn't really get a demonstration from a party or whatever.

On the Jamberry stuff, a good nail file is a must! I use a crystal one.

Hm, I hadn't thought of that. I have a glass one, I wonder if that would work better...

I've tried using the throw-aways and it's terrible. I don't even have strong nails but I can't stand the cheap nail files...

I have a cheapish file that I use to file my nails but I think it was perhaps too rough on the jamberrys. Maybe a finer file would be better in this case like you said.

I'm currently moving things around in my room but I think once everything is settled I'm going to paint my nails. It's been forever since I put some real polish on. XD

I would get this. In the grey lilac, yes. But it isn't distributed in the US.

Oooh, very nice! I found this color that I absolutely adored and would have bought in a heartbeat but it was only sold in Sweden. V_V
