Mason hoped that no one missed the blanket, be just knew that no one in town would help him. He then smirekd when he heard her and took thr knife. "I know how ti skin, don't worry about that." he said and worked carefully and quickly. You could tell he was well trained and knew exactly how to do everything. His handsworked quickly and soon the skin was off and whar was left was a nice clean board. Smiling he quickly gutted it before sticking the boar in a stick and slowly started to cook it. "food tastes awsome when you work for it." he said as he looked at her and laughed, "a d yor rigt, you do have to be a great hunger ti survive." he said as he looked at her. When he saw her poke the new crabs he licked his lips and smiled, "I can't wait to taste them. I hope they taste good." he said as be looked at her.

She was fascinated by his hands as he worked on skinning the boar, yes she had seen many men skin their catches but none with such skill and deftness. She decided to let him handle all the cooking for the boar considering the last time she cooked the food had ended up covered with sand, it made her smile to herself. ”Better than the last ones which are currently being snaked upon by hungry fish” she laughed her stomach growling at the scent of the boar as it roasted. Most of the time she ate fish, or anything Martha cooked for her, she hadn’t had boar in a long time and couldn’t wait to sink her teeth into it. ”You certainly aren’t modest about your skills are you” she teased

Mason smiled when he heard her and watched as the crabs boiled. "I think your right about that. Hopefully they taste ten times better then we expect them too." he said as he smiled at her. When he heard her stomach rumble he laughed and looked at her, "dont worry, you will get osme in a minute or two." he said as he looked at her then smirked when he heard her, "well I am very confidant in my skills, I have to be since I do most of my own hunting." he said as he watched the boar. After a few minutes he then slowly pulled the boar off the fire and cut a piece off and bite into it. Smileing he cut off another piece, "it is ready."

”Well it smells delicious” Alana reached out for the piece he cut off for her and bit into it greedily savoring the taste of something she hadn’t eaten in a long time she didn’t see his smile. ”I haven’t eaten boar in a long time” she checked on the crabs they were done dumping out the water she reached in and tried to grab one it was way too hot so she had to wait until they cooled down first. ”we might have to wait for these to cool down before we eat them” setting them aside she took another piece of boar. ”What was the last town you’ve been to anyway?”

Maosn smiled when he heard her and started to cut some more off for her. "it smells and tastes great." he said as he ate another piece himself. He then thought for a moment and smiled, "the last time I ate this was five or sox days ago. They are easy to catch most of the time so I eat them a lot." he said as he smiled and handed her some more meat. He then looked at the crabs and hoped that theycooled soon. He wanted to eat them now instead of having to wait. Her question the caught him off guard and he thought for a moment, "thr last time I was in a town was about a month or two ago. Let's just say they didn't like me to much after getting to know me better." he said as he looked at her, "I think the place was called pinto or winster, I don't really remember thought."

”Do you mean Winsterhaven? I’ve never actually been there before but that’s the only town that I know nearby” the crabs had cooled down enough now, reaching into the bucket she extracted one, while he had been so good at skinning a boar she was better at cracking open the crab. So it wasn’t long before she had a nice sized chunk of crab meat that she held out to him. ”Here I think you may find the taste different then what you are used to” after he took the piece she pulled out another chunk of crab meat and popped it into her mouth, she ate this often it was nothing new but it was still one of her favorite meals. ”How long do you plan on staying here in our quant little village?”

Mason nodded his head and whinced when he heard her say how close it was. If she was right about how close it was then it would mean that he had to be verycareful. Any minute this whole set up could come crashing down and he had to be alert. When he saw her take the crab out he forgot all that and smiled as he got a piece of it. Quckly he took a bite out of it and smiled, "taste different but it is the good kind." he said as he stuckhe res in his mouth and couldn't wait ti have the rest. He then sighed as he thought for a moment, "only a few days, I can't stay to long." he said as he looked at her and hoped he didn't have to explain.
