Nodding sleepily, Yuuko climbed onto the bike behind Seth, immensely grateful that she didn't have to walk home at all. In fact, she was lucky the wind and noise kept her from sleeping on the way to the mansion. She would have fallen off otherwise. Eventually though, they made it back to the mansion, and Yuuko climbed off of the bike, though she didn't make a move towards the stairs. "Could you go first or something?" she asked, swallowing a lump in her throat. "I don't want them to be mad at me."

" I don't mind going in first, but walk in with me. They aren't going to be mad at you. They are worried just like I was." He told her. He wouldn't say it, but he was so scared that she was going to disappear again. He wasn't sure he could handle that. He wasn't sure when he got so close and attached to her, but he was. His look was almost pleading and begging. He hadn't stopped looking for her at all, even when the other's had. He would have spent days without stopping looking for her till he found her.

Nodding, Yuuko took a deep breath before following Seth inside, surprised at how empty it was. If everyone was worried, they'd be waiting anxiously for her to come back, or so she thought. Yet, it was virtually a ghost town in the large mansion. "Do you know where they are?" she asked, peeking into the other rooms before plopping down on the couch loudly. She was honestly starting to think that they were just avoiding her because they were mad, which made her worried and anxious. She hated making people angry, or sad, or anything but happy; it was just how she was set up.

Seth sighed, they were all downstairs planning and stuff. He knew that's where the would be. " They are downstairs, most likely. Come on let's go check" Seth told her smiling. He was sure they were down there, that Scott wouldn't let them relax till they got some trace of where Yuuko was.

Jean sat down there with the others. They were starting to think they wouldn't find her. She perked up, suddenly sensing the girl. She rushed over to Scott," I sense Amber, she's upstairs" Jean told him.

"Okay," Yuuko responded nervously, fidgeting during the elevator ride down. She was personally afraid her nerves were frayed she was so jittery, but she could still feel pain, so that wasn't the case. "You're sure they won't be mad?" But he didn't have a chance to answer before the door opened and she was tackled by Scott, who wrapped her in a huge, brotherly hug. Numbly, she returned it, her arms wrapping as far around him as possible, which is to say not far at all.

Hearing Jean mention that Yuuko was back, Scott sort of stared at her for a few minutes before he sprang into action. In seconds, he was standing outside the elevator, waiting for it to come down. But when it opened and revealed Yuuko and Seth, Scott lost it, wrapping the tiny girl in a huge hug. Several of her vertebrae cracked, but he didn't really care if she didn't like having her back cracked right now. She was safe. "Seth," Scott began, "you deserve a medal. We'll have to find one for you though. But thanks." Nodding to the others, he motioned for a few of them to clean up the mess so he could go see what Yuuko knew about her kidnapper.

Seth went to answer her, but he never got the chance. They were ambushed my Scott, who was now hugging her like no tomorrow. He grinned, glad to see things were somewhat normal. He nodded, grinning " It was no problem" He said. He just leaned against the wall, as people moved into a flurry. He grimaced slightly, his shoulder pain was really in the forefront of his mind now. Especially since he had gotten Yuuko back home.

Jean blinked and watched Scott run after. She followed and went Amber went to flow as well, she helped the girl trip. Course Amber had no idea who it was, and people started moving to cleanup as Scott said to. She got over where the other two where with Scott glad to see that Yuuko was alright.

Caught up in the bustle of activity as everyone started celebrating her return, Yuuko felt caught in a river. The drugs were still in her system, and they were still working to make her lethargic and sleepy, which is why she found herself yawning, lost in the swirl of energy around her. Stretching, she slipped away from everyone and made her way to her room, summoning several ghosts along the way. Her explanation was enough for them to agree to guard her, and so she crashed on her bed, snoring softly while ghosts patrolled the perimeter, easily capable of defeating any opponent.

Unable to get through the mess of people celebrating Yuuko's return, Scott couldn't ask her what she knew about her kidnappers. This, of course, didn't make him happy. So instead, he started hunting for Seth. Seth should have a bit of information, if not as much as Yuuko. He spotted him away from the group as usual, though people kept coming up to him to talk about how he saved her. Pushing through the crowd, he ignored the protestations that followed, tapping Seth on the shoulder when he got close enough. "Would you care to answer a few questions?" he asked, motioning for Seth to follow.

Seth watched everyone, they all seemed to be overwhelming her. He glanced at her as he watched her walk up the stairs. It seemed no one was going to bother with him right now. He gritted his teeth again. He hissed loudly when Scott tapped is dislocated shoulder. " Shit man...." He mumbled. He glared at the offender who turned out to be Scott. " Yeah, Yeah. Fine, lead the way" He said. He followed after Scott.

Amber sighed and got up from where she had fallen on the ground. She dusted her self off, and decided to head upstairs, there really was no more use for her to be done here. ' There no use for you here at all' a voice said in her head. Her eyebrows knitted in confusion, that wasn't her voice. She looked around, maybe she should talk to Scott about it. ' You go near him, and I'll kill you' The voice scream. Amber clutched at her head, whoever was talking into her mind was very serious.

Jean clutched at her head for a second. " Ow...that's was odd." She said. She looked around and spotted Seth and Scott. Seemed he has questions to ask the other.

[[ I figured Jean wouldn't realize was she's doing just yet, kay?]]

"Sorry; didn't know you hurt your shoulder," Scott apologized as he walked into a quieter area of the mansion, the pantry to be exact. Closing the door behind him, he sighed before turning to Seth. "What do you know about Yuuko's kidnappers? One of them was obviously a mutant, but we don't know about the other one, or even how many of them there were. She went upstairs, and she seemed pretty tired, so I don't really want to ask her now."

" It's fine, just needs to be popped back into place" He said. He walked into the room, and leaned against the wall. " I don't got much to be of help Scott. I only saw the one man, the won who went through walls and but didn't really seem to try and fight me. It's almost like he lead me to Yuuko and outside. He might have been working with someone else, but I don't know. Whoever they were I'm not happy, that asswhole tossed her off a not finished building. We need to find them.." Seth said not happy, clearly still had a bone to pick with these people.

"Well, I suppose we'll have to get it from Yuuko then," Scott said, sighing. He had been hoping that Seth would know a little bit about her kidnappers at the least. He agreed with Seth though. Those people needed to be brought to justice, and kept from whatever heinous crime they were planning on committing. Opening the pantry door, he left, waving to Seth, before going to find Amber. She'd be able to help him sort through all this information.

" Yeah. Sorry I can't be of much more help" He said. He watched Scott walk off, and then headed to the medical ward. He needed this shoulder to get shoved back into place. Then he was going to check on Yuuko. He wanted to make sure that she was still alright.

Amber after that voice in her mind had fled from the rooms. She needed to get some air, that was scary. She knew whoever that person was, they seemed serious, but she didn't think she could stay away from Scott. She didn't know what to do.

Jean spotted Scott, he rushed to be rushing somewhere. She beamed and walked over to him, "Hey Scott everything alright?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh, sure," Scott answered, feeling a bit uneasy. Jean hadn't been acting very normal ever since the end of last week, and it was starting to freak him out if he was honest. She also seemed exceptionally caught up with Amber, which was also creepy. "How have you been lately?" He was trying to be polite, but the truth of the matter was that he wasn't really interested in conversation with Jean right now. Amber would make better company in his current state.

" I'm fine that that Yuuko is back. How are you Scott?" She asked. She was worried about him, she knew how get got with things like this. She wanted to make sure he was alright, and of course keep him away from Amber. She never liked the little elemental.

"Yeah, just a little preoccupied right now," Scott answered truthfully, looking around for Amber. "Something is going on, and I want to get to the bottom of it. Would you excuse me? I'm going to go check on Yuuko real fast. It'd be awful if she got kidnapped again while we weren't paying attention." With that excuse, he darted around her and up the stairs, looking in at Yuuko's sleeping form when he passed by looking for Amber. She was drooling slightly as she slept, her tiny body rising with each breath.

" Of course Scott" Jean said smiling. Her smile quickly faded, as Scott walked away. She could bet that he was going to find that annoying Amber girl. She hated her, wished she would just disappear. Scott was hers and she didn't like sharing one bit. A sharp pain, pushed through Jean's head, and she clutched at her head.

Amber was still outside, she was sitting under a tree, staring up at the sky. She was feeling a bit more calm being outside near nature always helped her calm down. ' You wench, how dare you steak him from me' The voice shouted. Amber paled," What in the world, who are you?" She asked. ' I'm your worse nightmare' The voice said, with a chilling air to it. All of a sudden tree roots sprung forth out of the ground and started to wrap around Amber tightly. Amber wheezed and cried out in pain, she was trying to convince the roots to the stop, but they weren't responding to her power.

[[ Duh dun Drama!]]

Looking out the window for Amber, as he had failed to find her upstairs, Scott was surprised to see a struggling shape. He was contemplating blasting it when Yuuko's door suddenly burst open, and she dashed out, her face grim and determined. Running after her worriedly, the only thought in his head was that they had brainwashed her. Yet, when she got to her destination, he saw that it was Amber, wrapped in roots that were slowly strangling her. There was no possible way for him to shoot the roots without shooting her, so all he could do was watch.

Feeling a life force fading, Yuuko jumped out of bed, her mind fully alert as she ran out of her room, down the stairs, and outside. Even at that distance, she had been able to tell that it was Amber who was dying. But she wouldn't let that happen. Focusing, the green stone on her wrist shone with an eerie green and black flame, which quickly coalesced into a dagger. Without hesitating, she stuck it hilt deep in one of the roots, which crumbled to dust around the dagger. Usually, they would've rotted slowly, but the energy in the dagger was extremely concentrated this time. After a few more thrusts and stabs, all of the roots, and the trees they were connected to, were dead, and Yuuko was breathing heavily.

[[Yay Yuuko saves the day!]]

Amber struggling was started to decrease, and she could barely breathe. The tree wouldn't listen to her. It seemed that no one was going to see her, that she was going to die out her alone. She was terrified, and her vision was slowly going back. She barely noticed the two people who appeared in front of the tree, she was barely managing to stay conscious. She did feel that the tree roots hold was getting weaker, and then suddenly they were all gone. She blinked, and sat there on the ground panting for area. Her eyes wide and her body shaking slightly. She noticed Yuuko with the dagger, and suddenly hugged the girl avoiding the dagger. " Thank you so much" She gasped out.

The pain in Jean's head got much worse, to where she was kneeling on the ground. Seth who was heading to go check on Yuuko spotted jean and rushed over. " Jean! You alright?" He asked. Jean looked up and glared at him. ' That little wench is still alive.' She thought, she stood up and shoved him out of the way. " Get out of my way" She said, her eyes seeming darker. She stomped off and upstairs. " What in the world was that, sheesh woman" He mumbled.

((Rifle match today! :D So I won't be able to post until around five or so.))

Turning suddenly, Yuuko vomited, nausea rolling through her body. The death of the trees, combined with her lack of energy, led to a severely confused and weakened mentality for the tiny girl. While Amber hugged her, the dagger dissipated, and Yuuko slumped. Within seconds, she was snoring again, drooling slightly into Amber's shoulder. Any death bothered her, though the severity wasn't usually this bad. Due to having lost energy to Arthur and his boss though, she had no energy to defend her own soul from the sudden loss of another life, which raked at her as much as any physical attack would do.

"Amber!" Scott cried out, eyeing Yuuko with awe before hugging them both tightly. "Are you okay? Do you know what happened?" The panic clashed harshly with the relief in his voice over her supposed safety, though Yuuko's expression was one of extreme anguish or agony, even though she was sleeping. Something must have unnerved her severely to give her usually radiant expression that dark tint. The trees themselves had died when Yuuko attacked their roots, withering instantly. In fact, they seemed about ready to fall over. "Guys, I think we should move about now."

[[ Alright Dear, good luck.]]

" I-" Amber said glancing at Scott. She wasn't sure if it was a good idea to talk to him, who ever sent those vines wanted her to stay away from him. She glanced at the trees, oh yeah they were about to fall. She stood up holding Yuuko, and nodded. " Alright" She said, she then moved away from the tree. She knew Scott would have more questions, and she knew she'd have to answer. Never minding who ever was out to kill her. She also had bruises forming around her neck and on her arms from the veins.

Helping Amber and Yuuko back into the house, Scott managed to keep from barraging her with questions, if barely. Yuuko still seemed pretty shaken up, literally; she kept tensing and loosening her muscles sporadically. Deciding it'd be best to take them in away from everyone, Scott led them around back, opening the door quickly before darting in. "Where do you want to go?" he asked, eyeing the stairs hopefully. Going into one of their rooms would offer privacy at the least.

Amber followed after Scott. She knew he wanted to fire of questions, but she was glad that he was waiting. She looked at him, she wasn't sure where they should go but they needed to at least put Yuuko down in a bed. " A room. We should put Yuuko to bed in her room first" Amber said speaking softly. Her voice sounding a bit worn out.

"That sounds good," he responded, helping her up the stairs and down the hall into Yuuko's room. Crossing the threshold seemed like a great offense, considering that, as far as Scott knew, no one but Yuuko had been in there. Shuddering at the invisible touch of the ghosts, he locked the door before taking Yuuko and setting her on the bed gently and tucking her in. "I figure we could talk in here. No one comes in here but her anyway, right?"

The room was brightly decorated. Stuffed animals lay strewn everywhere, though especially on her bed. The computer on her purple desk hummed softly, while the light on the tower blinked periodically. The pink wallpaper was a suitable complement to the odd yellow carpet she had put in. The wallpaper had rainbow borders along the ceiling and floor, while her blankets and sheets were decorated with Dora the Explorer. In short, it was like the perfect child's room. It still felt like they were invading something personal though. "So, what was that all about out there?" he asked, shrugging just a bit uncomfortably as he leaned against the wall.

Amber followed Scott, and felt a little out of place in Yuuko's room. She shivered, knowing it was from ghosts, and was able to see them better than last time. That frighten her, she didn't know if that was because she had been so close to death. She glanced around the very childlike room, she didn't want to talk her the ghosts were unnerving her. " I...alright" She mumbled softly.

She glanced around trying to figure out how to world this. She nearly jumped as a ghost moved by her, and seemed to go paler. She looked to him his gaze almost pleading," Can we please move to mine or your room to talk?" She asked. She didn't have the courage to talk here. She knew he wanted to keep an eye on Yuuko with all that had happened, but she couldn't stay in her one moment longer without freaking out.

Seth moved up the stairs after his encounter with Jean. That girl was truly buggin out, it was annoying. He made his way to Yuuko's room to check on her. He went to open the door and found it lock. He got worried for a moment, decided to focus his powers on the lock and unlock it. He then opened the door, blinking in confusion as he spotted Scott and Amber in there.

"Yeah, I know what you mean," Scott said, shuddering again. "It feels... wrong, y'know?" Standing, he began making his way for the door when it opened, revealing Seth behind it. Scott gave a crisp nod before striding out and down the hall into his room, not really paying attention to whether Amber was behind him or not. It was always best to look inconspicuous, especially after something like that had happened to Amber. Scott had a feeling why Seth had gone to Yuuko's room anyway, and he should of seen it coming. He was obviously crushing on the small girl, though for reasons even he probably didn't know.
