Meme purred more and rubbed her head up against Will's cheek as though to say that she did and like she was just showing him some lovins. She wasn't so scared when he was around and she hoped that he stayed close so she wouldn't have to be scared... though she knew at some going he would have to go do something without her... no matter what it was.

Will smiled when she rubbed his cheek and he held her close, "I will take that as a yes." he said as he smiled at her and gently stroked her head. He then sighed as he sat up and pulled her into his arms. "you need to stay in here for a little while. I need to go and take a shower." he said as he looked at her.

Meme seemed to whine some at that though then huffed a bit and seemed to nod some as she licked him again softly before curling in his arms just waiting for him to set her down so she could wait for him to get back.

Will held her for a little while and then sighed, "promise I will be right back." he said to her softly and then set her down on the bed. he made sure that she was comfortable and then smiled. "see you soon." he then headed out of there and to the bathroom. When he did he didn't even notice someone in the shadows. The king quickly moved in and slowly opened the door. He then closed it he looked at hte kitsune and glared at it, "your going to die here." he said as he pulled out a dagger and moved closer.

Meme curled up on the bed as Will set her down and just settled while she waited for him to come back. Though soon she haerd the door open and knew something before she even saw who it was. She yelped some when she saw the dagger and jumped off the bed and ran around the room looking for a hiding place before ending back up under the bed as far back as she could. She growled at the king though it was also mixed with a whimper as she watched his feet and hoped that he wouldn't try to grab her... though at the same time she knew he would.

The king smirked when he saw hte creature and moved closer. Though when it hid under the bed he frowned and laughed. "that isn't going to save you, devil." he said as he reached under and smiled when he snagged her tail. He pulled her out and then smiled as he looked at her, "your going to die here and right now." he said as he moved to stab her right then and there.

Finally Meme was so scared and so desperate that she shifted and coward in fear though did try to move away from the king whom still held her tail. "WILL!" she screamed out of desperation and hoped that she either spooked the king away or that Will would hurry in to stop his father from killing her.

When the king saw her shift he was shocked but the grip on her tail tightened. "you die here, beast." he said and was going to slam it into her. But instead of her skin he met he met Wills skin. He was still wet and a rushed pair of jeans were on but he glared at his father and pushed him away. "what the hell are you doing to do?" he growled as he glared at his father. The king looked at Will and pointed ot Meme, "it is a beast, it isn't right." he said and Will looked back at Meme. When he saw her he just stared.

Meme whimpered and covered her head when she thought the knife was going to come down on her though instead it was stopped somehow. She looked up to see Will and relaxed some though moved again and tried to pull her tail away from her king... though she just couldn't, it hurt too much. She looked up to Will to meet his eyes and whimpered some. "Please Will, please don't let him hurt me!" she cried some and tears were rolling down her cheeks and she tried to pull her tail away again but it only hurt more and she just couldn't get his grip off of her.

When Will heard her he knew it was his fox and quickly snatched his fathers hand away from her tail. "dont you dare hurt her." he said as he nearly crushed his fathers hand. The king whimpered and backed down from him and will let his hand go. "good, now get out of my room. You have no right to be here." he said as he looked at him. The king glared at him and hten the kitsune before slowly moving out of the room .Will then turned to Meme and looked at her carefully. He had so many questions but the only one that came to him was, "are you okay?"

Meme shivered and scooted away from the king as soon as she could and stayed as close to Will as she could. When the king was out of the room she looked up at Will then thought some and moved her tail a bit before nodding. "Y-Yeah I'm okay... just a bit scared and my tail hurts." she said quietly as she looked at Will and smiled some. "Thank you." she said softly and you could tell she meant more then just him keeping the king from killing her this time... more like every time that the king had tried to get her or when Will had found her and saved her in the first place.

Will smiled as he watched her tail swish and nodded. "good, I don't want anything to happen to you." he said as he looked at her and still couldn't believe that the small fox he had before was thisgirl. He then smiled s her, "I am happy to help you when ever you need me." he said and then laughed as he looked down at himself. He looked like a mess and he then looked at her, "I have a load of questions but first I think I should get dressed." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

"Ow okay... Um... I don't have to leave do I? I... I'm scared he'll try to kill me again." Meme asked as she looked at the door and shivered some really not wanting to be near that man again. She looked up at Will from where she was sitting on the ground and smiled at him some her ears twitching a bit and her tail flicked back and forth almost happily. She was so glad that he was helping her but she still wanted to know why... why would he? She wasn't really all that special... well she didn't think so anyway.

Will nodded when he heard her and smiled. "don't worry, I won't leave." he said and couldn't help but think that she looked cute with how her tail wagged. He then headed over to the drawers and pulled out a shirt. He slipped it on and then looked over at her. "so have you always been like this? I mean able to turn into a human?" he asked as he walked over to her and held out a hand to her.

"Mostly.... I wasn't born in this form though... I had five siblings in my litter and we all learned how to shift about.... I'd say a year ago... This form grows allot faster then my fox form... I look... I think about 17 but really I'm only like two years old... if that." Meme said softly and smiled some as she took his hand and let him help her up. Once she was standing her tail started to swish a bit more and she gave him a quick hug. "Thank you so much... for everything..." she said softly before pulling away and smiling easily at him really seeing nothing wrong with doing that at all.

Will nodded when he heard her and his eyes nearly bugged out of his head. He couldn't believe that she was only two but as he thought about it it made sence. "how are you able to change though?" he asked as henlooked at her and smiled when she took his hand. Though when she hugged him he blushed but hugged her back. "no problem, I am happy tonhelp you when ever you need it." he said as henlooked at her and smiled.

"Uh... I don't know... I just do... I think about it and if everything is right then I can shift... though due to my age I don't have full control over it so I can only shift when the time is right... that's why I didn't shift before..." Meme explained the best she could then cocked her head a bit when she saw him blushing and didn't really understand why... wasn't it normal for someone to hug someone else? She thought it was though she wasn't the same as a human...

Will nodded as he listened to her and thrn smiled. "well i am glad that you did. If you haddnt i wouldnt of made it here in time. When she cocked her head to the side she looked cute and he wondered if all kistume where this cute. "well now that i knkw you can talk back to me what do you want to do?" he asked since he wasnt sure if she wanted to follow him around all dsy like she did in her other form.

"I... I don't know... I would normally play outside with my... my siblings..." Meme trailed off as tears came to her eyes and she covered her eyes with her hands and started to sob into her hands as she thought about her siblings and her parents and knew they were all gone... they had all been killed and she was the only one in her close family that had survived... well at least she thought she was.

Will frowned when he saw her tears and instantly pulled herclose to him. She was her friend and companion. "i am sorry about your family but you have me, i am your family now." he found himself saying. She could stay here as long as she needed and he would always be at her side when she needed him.

Meme whimpered some though continued to cry as she berried her face in his chest and sobbed uncontrollably. She was in so much pain from watching her family die and to know she was one of the few left and to know that all her siblings and close family had been killed mercilessly. "Can we please help Atra?... she'll need help with this... can we help her?" she whimpered quietly when she could finally talk and you could tell the top thing that was on her mind was trying to find and save any Kitsune's they could... she just hoped that she wasn't the only one left... well other then the ones they had seen in town but she still wanted to find more...

He held her as she cried and he gently stroked her head. He knew that she was in torture over how they were killed and wished that he could of saved her family too. When he heard her he smiled and nodded, "of course we are going to help her. I want to keep you and every kitsune safe." he said as be looked at her and didn't let go of her. Part of him did it out of wanting to be close and the other was to comfort her. "now come on, let's go see if we can find people or kitsune." he said as he smiled a her and hoped she liked that idea.

Meme sniffled some though then smiled slight and nodded a bit. "Maybe we should look for Kitsune... I know they may run from you but they won't run from me." she smiled some then hugged him one more time before turning into her fox form then shook some and it seemed to start at her head then went to her tail before she stretched and yawned some.

Will smiled and nodded when he heard her, "sounds like a great idea." he said as he smiled at her and then hugged her again. He then watched as she changed back and smirked as he watched her streach. he then leaned down and picked her up into his arms. "lets go." he said as he headed out of the castle. Once he was int eh forest he started to look around and looked down at her, "where should we look first?"

"Atra" Meme's voice came as she came to a halt then looked in one direction and started to run in that direction. When she stopped she just stared and couldn't move nor could she really comprehend. In front of the two were about five Kitsune and Atra sat in front of them, back to Meme and Will, with a large red fox tail and red ears with deep pink tips to both.
