For the Kankuro x Gaara one I figured maybe Kankuro starts having a really hard time sleeping, and Gaara, who's always awake, spends more time with him causing the two to become closer and closer. But what will happen when everyone else finds out? And whats this? Temari planned it? Find out what is going on and why Temari has a part in this.

Kankuro awoke in the middle of the night, each of the sand siblings have their own rooms, and for some reason tonight Kankuro couldn't sleep. Temari might have been the oldest, but, being the oldest meant you had more duties. Lately Temari had been busy with going on missions and now Kankuro along with Gaara were stuck back at their village doing nothing. Standing up, he left his room to go down the hallway, and into the kitchen. The sand siblings had their own apartment at the very top.

Gaafa had been gazing the stars on the roof and suddenly it poured rain. Gaara's sand armor melted into mud and dripped from his face. He walked in and didn't notice Kankuro in the kitchen. He threw his muddy, wet clothes in the kitchen floor. "Stupid rain." he grumbled. He looked up and saw Kankuro. "Why are you awake?" he asked bluntly. He had no clothes on, but didn't care. It was just Kankuro.

Kankuro shrugged while getting a glass of cold milk, he turned around taking a drink saying "Couldn't sleep-" he stopped short when he realized that Gaara was in front of him naked. Kankuro blinked 'What the? Is this a dream?' Kankuro never thought that his younger brother would do anything like this. Kankuro was wearing back boxers with white stripes and a baggy t-shirt covering the top half of the boxers and a think dark purple robe hung on his shoulders. "What are you doing?" Kankuro raised an eye brow.

Gaara looked at him funny. "You never have problems sleeping. Well anyway...I'm going to take a shower. Bug me and I'll kill you." he stated bluntly. He walked out and stepped into the shower. The sand poured of of him and down the drain. He was pretty sure Kankuro wouldn't hear him, so he sang. It was an Adam Lambert song, Wadya want for me. "Yeah..I'm afraid so wadya want from me. Wadya want from me." he hummed the rest. When he stepped out he dried off and dried his hair. He wrapped the towel around his waist. He stepped back out and grabbed a glass of chocolate milk. He sipped it elegantly. "So what do you need to go to sleep?"

Kankuro sat at the kitchen table playing with a miniature pocket puppet to keep himself entertained. "I don't know, I think my head is just filled with random things right now" Kankuro answered. "Why aren't you asleep?" Kankuro added standing up as his puppet fell to the table in a small heap. 'He has to be cold, even here in the desert' Kankuro's older brother mood was kicking in, he wanted to do something to keep his brother safe and warm and just not see him in a towel 'Though the view is nice...wait what am I thinking' Kankuro shook his head putting his hand up on his forehead trying to shake that away.

Gaara shrugged. "I dunno. I hate to sleep. It's such a waste of time." he said that, but his eyes were heavy with sleepiness. He almost laos his head down on the table, but didn't. He stood and the towel fell to the ground. He shivered as the chill swept over him. The desert may have been hot during the day, but at night it was quite chilly. He wrapped it back around himself and sighed. He really needed to wash clothes. He had no clean pajamas left. He was so used to Temari washing his clothed, he forgot to do it himself. He looked at Kankuro oddly. He had to admit his brother was kind of hot." his face darkened at the mere thought and he threw it out of hos head.

Kankuro blinked when this all happened, sighing and shaking his head while laughing a bit, he moved over to Gaara placing the robe over his younger brother's shoulders "Here, you need this more than I do" he of course hesitated to move until he knew Gaara would put it on. "Why arn't you wearing your clothes Gaara?" Kankuro asked a bit concerned to why his brother was dressed only in a towel. Kankuro was so close, his body heat could be felt compared to the cold room.

Gaara was grateful for the robe, but didn't say thank you or even smile. He just looked blank and caring as usual. He could feel Kankuro's hot breath hit him. They were so close and shivers ran down his spine. "S-Stop doing that!" he barked at Kankuro. He had no idea why, but his breath had speed up and his face was hot. He backed away to but distance between them, but ended up losing his balance and tumbling into his older sibling. Now he was completely warm and felt kind of fuzzy. He was gasping in air. He felt like he'd been eletracted, but it wasn't painful. He stayed leaned up against Kankuro for a few minutes, not wanting to lose the heat that was so inviting. Then he pushed himself off. The odd feelings Had spread all over his body and he really was afraid of how Kankuro was making him feel. He wanted to curl upbeside his older sibling and never leave. His seafoam eyes narrowed and he stared up at Kankuro with his arms crossed. He had to wonder if he'd put him under some Jutsu. He finally awnsered the question he'd been asked. "I don't have any clean clothes. Temari always washes mine for me, but she's been gone and busy all the time. I don't even know how to wash clothes." his voice was weak and he cursed himself.

(great, stupid net, I gotta re-write this)

"Don't do what?" Kankuro asked his younger brother watching him taking a step back, he was about to take a step back himself, but, he watched as Gaara tumbled and fell towards him. Instinct took over as he caught Gaara in his arms feeling their bodies touching. For the few minutes they were like this, Kankuro laid his head against his brother's without realizing it at that moment, and then he asked "A-are you okay Gaara?" That sweet moment was gone when Gaara pushed himself off of Kankuro but not in a rude way really. "Well, I can show you how to wash clothes tomorrow if you want, for now, lets get you something to wear to bed or you'll get sick" Kankuro spoke being his normal self towards Gaara again.

"I'm fine." Gaara said curtly. He made sure he was as far from Kankuro as humanly possible in the small kitchen. "Yeah...I guess you could teach me." Gaara didnt like the idea of being close to Kankuro if he didn't have to be. He knew it'd be weird if he said no. Kankuro's robe hung loosely from Gaara's body. He didn't think he could fit in Kankuro's clothes. He was so much shorter and didn't have as much muscle. "Um..Kankuro..I might have to wear some of Temari's pajamas. Yours are just a bit big for me." Temari was taller than Gaara, but she was skinny. He knew he'd look really weird wearing girls clothes, but he didn't really care. He ransacked Temari's room looking for pjs. He found a door full of them. He nearly cried at what he'd be wearing. It was a pair of silky pants and a almost corset looking top with frilly lace all on the top. It had sleeves that were to his wrist and hung off the shoulders. "Kankuro..I look like a freak." he stepped out in the ridiculous outfit. It was jet black and he was glad it wasn't as bad as some of the other options. Most of Temari's pjs were pink with hardly anything to them. One he had considered earlier was a bright pink thong and a lacy pink corset. He had decided it was far to skanky. He stared at Kankuro waiting for an opinion.

(I was gonna ask if you want me to draw Kari and Gaara together? I need the practice...once i find my stupid drawing book)

Kankuro listened and watched his brother, smirking a bit he spoke "Well it does suit you" Kankuro teased. Pink on Gaara was one thing, but, to actually have something like this being worn by him, it was amusing to Kankuro. Kankuro leaned against the door frame "You like fine in it, its not like you are going to go outside in that outfit" Kankuro really did think his brother looked good in it, almost...wait what was he thinking, no way, no way "Why don't you get some sleep little brother"

Gaara wanted to rip the sleeves of of this damn thing. He hated the feeling. He threw it off right in front of Kankuro and grabbed a sleeveless corset. He'd missed this outfit before. It was burgandy and a seafoam green. The same colors of his hair and eyes. He pulled it on and he acctully felt pretty. It had a pair of the shortest shorts he'd ever worn. It was lacy and hugged him tightly. He knew it had to be to little for Temari. He looked at Kankuro. "I think I like this one better.." it didn't cover his entire stomach and reveled a bellybutton piercing he'd been hiding from his siblings since he was 13. A girl at the academy had done it for him after school one day. It had a small red heart one it. "What do you think? Be honest."

"The outfit or the piercing?" Kankuro asked not looking too happy that he had just found out about his brother's piercing on his belly button. He liked the outfit, the piercing yes, but, not being told his little brother had one at his age or younger, now that was something he wasn't so pleased about.

Gaara rolled his eyes very dramatically. "Hmp. Kankuro, I'm 17. I think I'm old enough to have a simple percing. Besides. I had a hell of a time trying to get that needle past the sand. That poor girl had to jab a billion time and even broke a few needles trying to get through my sand armor. She made me pay for the needles too!" Gaara really couldn't belive Kankuro dissaproved. He wanted Kankuro to think he was sexy. Gaara pushed that thought out of his head a blushed a light pink. He tried to convince himself that he didn't want Kankuro to think that. He told himself he didn't give a damn what he thought. He removed the body jewelry and set it on a dresser. "Happy?"

Kankuro listened to his brother, moving over to him after watching the jewelry be placed on the dresser. Gaara looked cute pouting or so Kankuro had thought. "Gaara..." Kankuro spoke shaking his head slightly as he moved close enough to Gaara that there was little room "I just would like to know if you get anything like this" Kankuro had placed his hand under his brother's chin to make him look up to him. They were only inches away...Kankuro took a step back "Just go back to bed Gaara, don't go outside, go to bed" Kankuro would make sure he would be heard when he told his younger brother to go to bed. Kankuro could have had that moment, he wanted that moment, his body knew and that wasn't helping the situation. "You can wear it whenever you want, but, eventually Temari will find out" he moved towards the door to leave so that he could go to his room.

Gaara gasped as they were so close. It made his stomach flutter nervously. He put the jewel back in and made another confession so Kankuro wouldn't be angry with him. He knew he'd find out one way or another. "I have um..a small tat.." he showed Kankuro a small green star behind his ear. It had other even smaller stars of many colors in a circle around it. He also had one right above his ass of a half moon, bit he didn't tell Kankuro about that one. He figured Kankuro would never see it unless Gaara was completely naked in front of him, and the chances that he would ever strip in front of Kankuro agian were slim to none. He had no idea that the half moon could be seen. The corset didn't cover it and if Gaara would have turned around Kankuro could have easily noticed it. It was small, but not to small to be seen. It was electric blue with a dark black outline. It was made to stand out. Gaara liked to drink and this was one of the things he had done when he visited a local bar. He made a mistake by walking out of the door right in front of Kankuro. He swayed his hips just slightly as he walked. It was just enough to look natural, no one could have told it was intentional.

Kankuro saw this, but, realized that Gaara hadn't done it on purpose, maybe he didn't want him to know about it. "You know, even though we are brothers, I'm sure there is more to eachother than the other thinks huh, now go to sleep" Kankuro went into his room shutting his door slightly leaving it cracked a bit and laid down on top of his covers. All that had happened, it had defiantly brought attention to how Kankuro was feeling, his body was making sure of that. So it took him awhile to fall asleep, he was too busy thinking about everything and how it was all going.

Gaara nodded in agreement. "We really should get to know each other better." he then walked out and laid in hos bed. After what seemed to be an eternity he heard Kankuro snore lightly. He climbed out of the bed and went up to the roof. It wasn't raining any more. He was forced back inside by the biting cold. He felt so emotional at the moment. He felt way to much for Kankuro and he didn't want to feel anything for anyone. He didn't feel like anyone could ever love him back. He let hot tears flow down his face as he sobbed. He had his door shut and hoped he didn't disturb Kankuro. He couldn't control his sobs and they got louder and louder. He buried his face in a pillow to drown out the noise.

Kankuro woke a bit later to use the rest room, he forgot to before bed after getting some milk, when he walked by Gaara's door he heard something. He couldn't make it out as he tried to listen closer, quietly knocking and turning the doorknob very quietly, opened the door a bit "Gaara? Are you awake?" Kankuro asked checking in on his little brother. Kankuro was still very tired and half asleep here.

Gaara tried to fake sleep, but another sob racked his body. It embarresed him so much that he started crying agian. Kankuro had awakened Gaara's emotional side. It was a side not many people ever saw. "G-Go to bed Kankuro." Gaara said, praying that Kankuro was still to sleepy to relize what Gaara was doing. He didn't want to let Kankuro know he had emotions. He wanted Kankuro to think he was a heartless monster. It was better that way he thought.

Kankuro was out of it, he had forgotten about the restroom and walked into his brother's room sitting on his bed. Most likely he wouldn't really remember anything at this point and on because of how tired he was. He never fully went to sleep nor did he fully wake up either. "Gaara..." Kankuro spoke rubbing Gaara's back.

(I will be back when its time for dinner, mom wants use of the laptop)

Gaara lifted himself up and then burried his face in Kankuro's chest. He clung to him and cried until he had no more tears. He gave Kankuro a weak smile and hugged him. "T-Thanks for being here for me Kankuro."

Kankuro laid down holding onto Gaara as he allowed his brother to cry, some time went by, and when Gaara was done crying while speaking to him. Kankuro had already fallen back asleep with his brother in his arms. Kankuro was known for talking in his sleep, Gaara had insomnia sometimes it seemed, and Temari was always restless within their own village. "Gaara..don't..." Kankuro muttered but it didn't seem like he was having a nightmare.
